Good price, Bosch make crackin machines

I was quite keen when I saw this post, until I read a few reviews, and this has put me off...

the 1200 rpm spin speed is only available on the cottons program - the max spin speed on all other programs, including spin-only, is just 800 rpm

Now that's poor.
#3
thats pretty typical of all machines, varying spin levels according to wash pattern selected, & the max spin is always only for a short time, typically dont overload your machine to assist a better spin.

Would be poor if true, better check this because it doesn't sound right.

My Zanussi does have lower spin on nylons and fine fabrics, that's normal. Perhaps the reviewer didn't know that fine fabrics should not be spun on high rpm.

Heat Heat Heat!!!!! I am after a new washing Machine and was looking at a Bosch one. You just saved me £41 as the one I seen was £300
#6
seen your post after i ordered but added heat

5kg is a very small load, so don't put to much washing in, or it won't last as long as a cheaper brand larger machine.

You can get an extra year warranty if you register the appliance on the Bosch website

We've had a Bosch for at least 13 years! Just starting to wobble and creak now . Just ordered a Candy GO482 from Co-op Electrical £259 with a good 8kg load and 1400 spin was also voted as a best buy on Which so I pleased with what i've bought now - heat added though as Bosch are a good reliable make
#11
Brilliant price for Bosch, if I needed a new washing machine would buy.

Zippy

Have you seen the reviews for that Candy,it looks a nighmare of a machine.
I looked into it a couple of months back and went for a couple of Bosch`s instead, watch out.

Sorry to be negative, but we purchased one of these (based on it being a Which best buy!) just less than 18 months ago and it's gubbed! Have since seen a lot of negative comments. It's made me think twice about placing such reliance on Which!!!

Am considering this Bosch now (but Which haven't reviewed it :p !)

Guys, Does anyone know if this washer has a "Delay feature" ie I can set a timer to wait say 6 hours before it starts the prgramme, then it's all finished in the morning.
#15
would be perfect if it was in silver/grey
#16
Hi,
Can anyone confirm the width of 590mm?
We are really tight for space so won't take any thing wider than 590mm :x
Regards
DS
Edit: Just checked website and it says 595mm

Why not click the link and view the "product info"?

Clearly says "start timer delay"

Cheers.......

Just ordered one.

Our old Bosch is 12 years old and getting rusty with some other brown corrosion inside.

Did the cleaning sollution trick a few months ago which helped, but it's not long for this world.

I don't expect the new one will be build as well, but for under £270 delievered, installed and the old one taken away and a 2 year guarantee also............ well.............

Could not really say no.
#21
These knock spots off your hotpoint hoover etc, the build is 200% better.
#22
Great deal possibly better than the earlier Zanussi deal.

How slow is the average wash on this machine? My parents bought a Bosch recommended by Which? magazine and they hate it. The wash takes about 3 months to complete and it doesn't wash that well either. Never broken down though in 3 years so far.

Instead of Calgon try White Vinegar, lots cheaper, and does a better job.

40 degree easy-care wash takes 47 minutes. Or so the wife tells me...
#25
We have this machine, it is good but my only annoyance is that when you put the liquitabs in the bottom of the drum often it ends up getting stuck in the door of the machine so we use liquid in the drawer now.
#26
'cold feed only' does it mean it will use electricity to heat up water? if that is the case it might be expensive to run during the day.
#27
Has anyone managed to you any of the discount vouchers?
