1200 spin is perfectly adequate. Read this recently which I thought was interesting.

I bought a Bosch washing machine 2 years ago to replace a 15 year old one, believing that it may just last as long as the first one. Not true. Just out of 2 year warranty and was billowing smoke and making a racket !!!!! apparently bearings gone, but got to wait for someone to come and look at it. Won't pay over the odds for another Bosch that is for sure :-)

bought a Bosch washing machine 2 1/2 years ago thinking the same. not impressed. door sprung a leak within 12 months and now it has another leak from somewhere. trading on it's past good name imho, other manufacturers seem to offer much better value for money. kudos to the op for finding it because it's probably a good deal but I'm not voting either way based on my experience with this manufacturer.

Bought one last week from Currys at £249.99 with 2 year warranty. Delivered the other day and has been in constant use to catch up with the back log. The other machine is kaputt. We went in to get a different make, saw this and paid the extra. Glad we did as it is a good machine and is surprising quiet (for a washing machine). Clothes appear cleaner than previous make (Indesit) which is nice. Highly recommended washing machine. Good price and it really does a good job.
Still available at this price at Currys.

Obviously yet to get to 2 year mark but time will tell.

disappointed no wool programme, is there another programme that would suffice ?

Word of warning - my Bosch washer has knackered bearings which are generally less than £20 a set. Bosch use sealed tubs that you can't open up and replace the bearings so you have to buy a new tub - cost £180 plus fitting (if you don't do it yourself) so £250 or thereabouts.

Paid £400 for this and its only 3 years old. Shall be buying a cheap £150 one this time and scrapping it if it goes wrong!!
