We've had a bosh washing machine which has been used at least once a day over the last five years, and never had a problem, would definitely recommend them.

Maybe you can tell us the model number so we can buy the same? ;)

Looks good, only downside is 6kg capacity which is on the lower end... some people might want larger for for 1-2 people that would be fine.

I have had a Bosch for 20 years , still works, I also take a bath twice a year, shows you how many times I use the Bosch

I ordered a new machine two days ago and went for the Panasonic at John Lewis. £100 more expensive but 8kg drum and 5 year warranty.
#22
Well I don't think Bosch make them like they used to. Got one over 2 yrs ago (3 months out of warrenty), single person used around once a week and today it its decided to throw out an error code..... overjoyed!!

OMG Panasonic washing machines? What can go wrong is ur machine breaks and they take it for one, two weeks .....but its fixed for free ;) or waiting for pieces!

Read the reviews of the Panasonic on the JL site and think very hard before you buy one http://www.johnlewis.com/panasonic-na-148vg4-washing-machine-8kg-load-a-energy-rating-1400rpm-spin-white/p231724723#tabinfo-ratings

If those customers are typical of Panasonics inability to repair simple faults quickly then would you like to be without your machine for 22 days with no resolution in sight? JL might be offering a 5 year warranty but Panasonic are fulfilling it!

Regarding the Panasonic - 18 reviews averaging 4 stars out of 5. Most are 5 star with the odd 4 star.

I agree that the 5 terrible reviews are concerning but 1 of those isn't even for the right machine. The rest are about the service agent, not Panasonic.

All in all I think it's worth a punt and if it does break and they screw me around then I'll be billing them for laundrette use and my time while they decide what to do.

BTW there is a very similar specced Samsung with 5 year warranty but only 7kg load and that's the same price.

With this I also used my O2 priority moments £25 off £250+ spend voucher. This is a mid-range Bosch and pretty good machine for the price. Today I went into Currys to order one and also as the £25 voucher is in-store only. I had to place it on a pre-order as they are out if stock currently - but they say that they will have more stock within a couple of weeks. It was £10 delivery to choose the date I wanted it to be delivered - so £285 all in. Happy with that - Hot!

Forget what John Lewis shoppers say and go onto the white goods forums to read about Panasonics from those who know what they are talking about, namely the engineers who end up working on them. I've read loads as I was about to buy a Panasonic unit, now I won't go anywhere near them.

Probably maximum time - it will decide what to do depending on how the washing is going. It is still washing while heating so no particular reason why it should make a difference.
