Great set of Bose headphones including the microphone. This is cheapest I've seen these headphones even without the microphone. Normally around £120 without the mic and £150 with the Mic. So for £109.99 plus £1.99 delivery this is a bargain for what is in my opinion a great set of headphones!

Also compatable with the 2g iphone that has the annoying inset headphone jack!!

Plus use the 10% off voucher making it about £100 plus 2% quidco!

Why the cold votes? is there anywhere you can get them cheaper if so please share as I'm going to buy a pair and before this could only find them for £150 with the mic?

Maybe the cold votes is because most people see past the Bose image and marketing and realise there are better quality audio equipment around for less money? I am not commenting on this particular item just that bose have a reputation for for being expensive and below par performance wise.

Am I correct is saying that you cannot answer a call from these, but need to do it from the phone. I am sure that is the case on the iphone. It would seem to me to be a bit of a design flaw if it is the case.

Not sure about that. My pa has a pair of the no mic ones and the sound quality is amazing and to be honest a saving of £50 is a bargain in my eyes. Just thought I'd share it though oh well.

Agreed!

They won't hold a candle to my beloved Klipsch Image X10's!

Yeas, I would agree here too. The cubed speakers with a sub woofer setup always amazes me. I don't know how they get away with it really. Tannoy's all the way for that for sensible money if you must.

When you say you are not sure about that. That's a serious amount of money to spend on a headset that may or may not allow you to answer the call from the headset. If I were interested in them, I would certainly want to be able to answer the call from the headset rather than the phone.

Bose stuff is of a decent quality but nowhere near the amount they charge. For proper headphones buy Sennheiser, better and cheaper.

Sennheiser have their fair share of cheap **** too. At least it's cheap **** rather than expensive **** though I suppose.

You are right, some of the bottom end is not very good although as you say it is cheap.

I was referring more to the likes of the Sennheiser HD650 or 595s.

You said better and cheaper and then give examples of one which is over 200 and another over 400. Great.
