Comet have this offer instore, but can reservered online through their website.

Price has dropped down slightly again.
I have just bought one, i can say that i am very impressed with it. I did have my heart set on the Klipsch Igroove based on the reviews and a cheaper price than the Bose.
But this price drop tempted me to buy it.

It's kind of ironic that Bose made this as it's not good looking at all. In fact it's really ugly. Normally Bose is all about style without substance. This is the other way around. Anyway, if you want style and substance then the Audica MPS-1 system is far better and cheaper. It's won more awards than the Bose to and that was at £250.

have the sounddock paid about £150 4 or 5 months ago when was reduced from 299 to 150, but would like to add that there is the prtable version for sale now showing on HUKD for about £190, so If I was making a choice I would go for the portable at this price.

but the price for the ordinary bose dock is HOT!

I was tempted to buy the Bose last month when the price came down. I did a bit of research and ended up buying the Klipsch Igroove, and boy, am I glad I did. The Bose is downright ugly. The pictures of the Klipsch dont do it justice, when you see it in the flesh, it oozes style and quality. As for sound, I think the Klipsch is superior, its a cracking system. I only paid £65 for the Klipsch through Amazon, it costs more now, at £84.99, but still a steal at that price. Bose is over priced, my son has a lifestyle system, and as all their stuff, its well overpriced, you are paying for the name.
This is only my opinion, if you are thinking of buying either, do your research to make sure you make the right decision. There are enough threads on this forum that will help you.

That is the ugliest speaker dock I have ever seen. Looks like a cheap mini system.

I'm sorry but the Bose looks great, no idea what your talking about.

Hot.

I've been doing the same research but every time I see something I like I find out it will play but wont charge my ipod classic.

Re. the Audica MPS-1 from BigPockets ...

Has anyone ordered recently? There are some weird posts on other websites (admittedly going back to the early part of 2008) about BigPockets not selling the genuine article?

Seems a fantastic price (£81) compared to other places (£200 +) - I am seriously tempted as it looks a nice system and the reviews seem great but the stuff I've read is putting me off a little...

No highs, no lows... must be Bose!

bose is great but does not work charging wise with the latest iphone 3g and ipods that use the usb pin to charge in the apple dock connector - be warned!!!

You do know that BOSE stands for Buy Other Sound Equipment? :p

Just got a white one from Comet Oldbury for £74.50.
Didn't have a box, but is in perfect condition. They had 1 left.
