Just received one of these today for the kitchen and the sound and connection is excellent. Good price. Good deal.

Brilliant little speaker, well worth its rrp so this price deserves heat
#3
I was hoping the MasterCard code would work but not for me unfortunately

Received mine within a few days of ordering. I returned it as it had a minor scratch on it but the real reason being I prefered my other speaker so sent it back. They paid for the return costs and refunded the full amount plus an extra few euros for some reason unknown to me.
Buy with confidence from any Amazon within the EU.They are the best.

This is class and worth every penny at full price, So an absolute bargain at this price .

fanatastic speaker. Nothing comes even close! I'm always wondering how it's even possible to get such good sound at all frequencies from such small drivers. Amazing,
And price wise, cheapest I've seen it for is 150£ so this is a steal!

GBP 127.13 according to my checkout

Try typing in the search. Quite often found cheaper than £150.00

bought one last week after many comparisons over Christmas this cannot be beaten by anything less than twice the size such as the Sony SRS X5 which is as good but not better.
#20
oh and BTW mine came with USA, Euro and UK charger fittings
#21
Will have a look In the outlet Cheshire oaks to check price, anyone know if it's discounted any cheaper then this
#22
Would highly recommend this as opposed to the Bose, this is more like the actual sound dock

great quality and decent sound, ideal for a smaller room paid 169.99 and was happy with it at that price so this is a good deal
#24
This is the price point it should be at, we all know we pay more because it's a Bose. £169.95 is overpriced. This is more like it, heat given.
#25
Use mine everyday, great item.
#26
Had one of these but upgraded it for the UE Boom which is a better speaker in all respects IMO (sound quality, battery life, durability/portability)
#27
This is an excellent speaker (I have one) and a good price - hot!

As an alternative, you could look at the Sony which is a little cheaper than this deal and as far as I know, the only speaker to match the Bose for sound quality although it's a bit bigger.

My sister has the Sony and can confirm it's very good indeed. If I'd known about it when spending the £160 on the Bose I may have got that instead.

If only this had a built-in radio! I'd be all over it then
#30
Does anyone have the Veho VSS-012-M6? Would this be a big upgrade? Looking for a bluetooth speaker for the bedroom without having to break the bank.
#31
The Cambridge audio go is also a very good Bluetooth speaker
#32
IS this £70 odd better than a JBL flip if I can get it for £50?

No.Thats why I returned mine. I bought it last month for £125. Its a worthy speaker but definitely not worth more than £125. I already had the Flip 2 which can be had for £50. There isn't much between them and the Flip has more portability and less than half the price.
#34
I have this and sonos play 1 and both are very good

Out of interest if 1 had to go which would you keep and why?
#36
I got the Sony SRS X3 for £70 from Tesco before Christmas. I compared it to the Bose in Currys and there wasn't much difference at all (apart from the extra £60). The Sony also charges with a micro USB lead too which is handy.

So can we buy anything from within europe and not have to pay any further duty or vat? Noting that lots of the bose stuff and probable other electronics are a bit cheaper from an amazon .fr or .de site. Is there any hold back?

Not quite. Dont mistake Europe for EU. Buy anything from within the EU and there is nothing further to pay.

Thanks rhinopaul. Is this fairly common then. I don't know anyone personally who has done it, but it seems so obvious when it can be quite a bit cheaper!

Its become more popular as people start to realise how much cheaper it is. Ive bought loads from Amazon.es, de & fr and there service is impeccable .To be honest a lot of Amazon.uk stuff is held in warehouses across the EU so even when you buy it from UK it still can come from Germany or France anyway & visa/versa .
