Voted hot but I think this is actually the discontinued v1 and the 2 is available for £10-20 more. This is still an excellent speaker but there's enough on the v2 to warrant the extra cost

Good price but these are "dumb" speakers, Samsung ones allow voice control and provide notifications you can also use the poop S Voice of Google to ask questions which is cool.

I think the likes of Amazon echo and others will cause a shift in what these BT boxes do, gone are the days of its just a speaker.

cold.... the v1 have regularly been around the £115 mark in various places, John Lewis even did them for £99 at one point. the V2 has better sound and the benefit of micro usb charging

This is the problem with bose at costco. Its always the older versions. I was looking at the solo 15 a few weeks ago which was advertised as having bluetooth but it didnt as it was the version 1 and not the version 2!!

I have the newer one that hubby picked up in America for me. Paid just under 100 quid for it and it's 169 here. It's worth every penny. Fantastic sound .

I was looking at this in Costco's the other day. In the end I went with a much cheaper Anker

I doubt they're comparable in the quality of sound they put out but this is easily good enough for me and only £28.
