Generally Bose speaker rate very well but are always quite expensive even for the sound quality. That said if you are going to consider buying 1 or 2 in this case then £125.50 each is a fairly reasonable but still dear price. My only gripe about these is a lack of google cast support on the WiFi front and no battery. Same price from John Lewis and Amazon. 2 year guarantee from Currys and JL.

Decent speakers audio-wise, but pales in comparison to the likes on Sonos for streaming services and local file support.

The soundtouch only supports Pandora, Deezer, Spotify, SiriusXM, Amazon Music Prime (though not all of these services are available in all countries, so forget Pandora and SiriusXM in the UK) and local DNLA servers, and that information is pretty difficult to find.

For Reference: Soundtouch Music services availability

I have both Sonos devices and the Soundtouch 10 and I'd go for the Sonos every time.

Just to provide the other side of the argument here. I totally agree about the Sonos app vs Bose app- Sonos wins by a country mile. But like all apps this may change, just last month Amazon Prime Music in the UK wasn't supported. I'd imagine both Sonos and Bose will continue to improve their apps.

On the flipside however, it really depends on what you're trying to connect with. Sonos has no Bluetooth support at all. And Bose has no Airplay support anymore. With the Bose speakers, you can bluetooth to any one easily and then play that through all the speakers over the wifi.
