Isn't this a good price IMO.

A cheapish Yammy or Onkyo amp and some small speakers would blow this out of the water.
I bet I could buy a good amp, decent small speakers if size is a issue and maybe a wharfedale subwoofer, and still have change left over.

You can buy that set up from me then as that is what I am going to replace with a 130 after my experience with the 120 I already have :-)

I only want one speaker bar, needs to be good looking, a (small) sub that doesn't need to be near the TV, plus a small non obtrusive amp. Wireless connectivity to add speakers in either room like this or Sonos is also ideal. Butget 1k, ie either of the Bose listed. What do you suggest?

Well l am no expert at all but I had a 120 in my back room and love the sound quality. I have now purchase the 130 for the main TV room replacing an Onkyo 509 which was very good but did not have 4K and alog more cables. So this does not have 5.1 but for me sounds just as good. I have a 120 a 130 and a 20 in the kitchen so can have music in all rooms too
