Inspired by all those panicked parental moments when you turn around and your little one has decided to play hide and seek, the Out of Distance monitor from Bosieboo is simple yet ingenious.

The monitor will alarm if your child goes outside your designated preset distance. This gives them the freedom and independence to explore without the constraints of traditional manual devices like reins. It also allows mum and dad to have the confidence to let them do so knowing they will always be alerted if they stray a little too far. The furthest setting range for this item is 50m from 5m. Colour: Green/White

I have done a search for codes and none help.

Looked at other places and they are £29.99 or £34.99 and not sure on Delivery price.

And if someone could put a pic up then thankyou

Voted hot as good price for what appears to be quality product. There is a cheaper version available at Lloyds pharmacy online for £9.99 for those on a budget which was posted some time back i believe.

Above is available in brown or pink for information..

Doesn't look like you can't track the child down with the unit. As this review says which way do you run?

To be fair, the review gives the example of the alarm going off at 50 metres and where do you go?

Any parent that leaves this set at 50 metres doesn't really need this alarm, as they are pretty much happy to let their child out of site !

It says you can set the range between 5-50 metres, I have a toddler and would set the limit fairly low, probably 5 metres as you'd always want them in view, so this is more for if they go out of view, and worse case scenario, you'd set the alarm when they go beyond 5 metres, and you can search a range of 5 metres around you fairly quickly, I think 50 metres in somewhere like a shopping centre would be very difficult to search.

Seems a good product, but I'd use this as a last minute alarm, rather than a routine thing you expect to be triggered.

I ordered one as we have a baby due in may and our boy will be nearly 4 then and like you said I want it really to set at 5-10mtrs depending where we are also thought it would be useful if we go to a play area just make a rough measurement of the area and set accordinly.

I try to never let my boy out of site anyway but this is a over precation incase something does happen for £20 it could save a lot of worry.

Recieved mine invoice had £509.99 on it nearly died rang them very nice customer services said sorry we charged £495 delivery :w00t: instead of £4.95 and your card has been re-credited and it had checked online.

Bonus is they gave me back all the delivery charge so only paid £14.99 then the next day I got a £10 voucher with a letter apologising for the mistake

Only fault I have with it is you seem to have to match the reciever with the transmitter everytime you turn it off only takes about 10 seconds in total but just seems a pain (have to do this as there is 16 different channels must be if anyone else has one it finds a different channel). The device is simple to use apart from that and everything is rechargable so no batterys to buy.
