The problem with this bike is it looks like a cheap version of a motorbike.

You'll just look like an idiot who can't afford a proper motorbike.
#21
This bike is absolutely hilarious its a bully magnet 2 stroke nerd engine
#22
You want one of these, you do ;)

(S.H.I.T!) just ordered thinking it was a real motorbike :(

Just a few comments:-

1. It will weigh a ton! Well not literally, but it will be heavier than a heavy thing, on the heaviest day of the year, during a freak heavy storm.

2. Fake disk does tell you all you need to know.

3. There's an age range of kids that will LOVE it. However, they may be too small to use the thing.
#25
Well my 9 year old just said that it looked cool.
#26
I wish I had one when I was a kid!
#27
Exxx-actly - there's an age range of kids that will simply LOVE this.

They won't care about the sort of things that adults care about, in terms of whether it truly is any good, or it's image.

Kids of that age will just think it's brilliant. And so long as it fits them, and doesn't fall apart, they will love it.

Anything that stops my a*r*s*e hurting after 10 mins of riding is a plus in my book and the saddle on this thing looks up to the job? Good mud guards too!

As for looking cool, Dunno if im a big kid or not but looks ok to me. Adults are harsh sometimes...

As an adult, my criteria would be how heavy is it, how well made and how robust are the components, does it look appealling / nickable (clearly a negative in my system), will it go quick and not waste my energy.

Saddles and mudguards can be changed, if it weighs or ton, or costs you loads because things keep falling off or wearing out, then that's another thing.

It's quite likely that none of this would matter to a child. A child would take a look at it and think it's the coolest thing ever. And so long as it didn't fall apart on them, and wasn't way to big, then what's the harm. They're not likely to be using it for years and years, before they'll want something else.

Had about 5 bikes as a kid and every one nicked!

Tried chaining em to concrete posts in shed etc, but still managed to nick em!

My last one was a Ralleigh Activator, after that got nicked, i got a Megadrive instead with the insurance money, and erm.... got fat! haha!

Pretty sad eh?!

Blimey, I take it you're from Leeds. Is it that bad there?
#32
dont worry dont think anyone would nick this bike
#33
In fairness it's not really that much different to the massively popular Raleigh Chopper bike that I had 30 years or so ago. There's no point looking at bikes like this from an adult's point of view.

Exactly my point - and looking at the inside leg measurement for this, it is a kids bike.

Personally, I believe that many kids will love it, and why not, that's what they do, and that's the sort of thing they go for.

And when I was a kid, somebody wouldn't have got bullied for such a thing, others would have been jealous. Although I suspect in todays world it'll mean it gets nicked, or they get mugged for it.
