You have to BUY the Tiger Beer first silly. :giggle:

Basically you buy the special promotional bottles of Tiger Beer, which includes a £10 voucher for a meal. :)

2) Vouchers can only be redeemed at participating restaurants where
they may be exchanged for a main meal up to the value of £10
applicable to the lowest value main course ordered. Only one voucher
may be redeemed per group, per sitting
. Vouchers may only be redeemed
Monday to Thursdays- excluding bank holidays. No change will be given.
If the cost of a meal is in excess of £10, the participant must pay
the difference.

3) For a full list of participating restaurants please see
www.tigerbeer.co.uk/chinesemealdeal

4) Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and
are subject to availability.

5) Vouchers are only valid at participating outlets between 1st August 2007

and must be over 18...

Thanks for the extra info mate, so basically the voucher is £10 per group, which can be as big or as small as you want and can only be used Monday to Thursday. :)

Great offer in my opinion, as chinese restaurants are normally quite cheap anyway, so it's brilliant value for couples and even better for people eating on there own.

Damn, this deal dropped from over +20 heat, down to -8.2 even though it's a great deal. :)
#6
Will it work on takeaways?
#7
Nothing in Portsmouth though
#8
no such thing as a free meal? well this comes quite close so heat ( hot, not the spicy version) and rep given.

no rep given as i have to share my love around.

oh well i will rep it later.

Hi, As far as I can see there are no participating restaurants in Northern Ireland, so it's GB wide rather than UK wide. Michael
#10
Yup There are no Northern Ireland Restaurants as mentioned in the previous post, which sucks! But seems a decent deal nonetheless.

List of participating restaurants:

Nearest one for me is about 40 miles away :o ah well
#12
Seems like a good deal to me.
#13
Not driving 160mls there and 160mls back for a free chinese
#14
None in my area S.Wales either, gutted could really do with a chinese too. Voted hot if it is in your area.

I doubt it but you could always call your local chinese that's included in the list of participating restaurants and ask if they will accept the tiger beer voucher for home delivery or take-away.

It's quite cheeky but they participate in the deal, so they'll be able to answer better than anyone who hasn't taken advantage of the offer as of yet. :)
#17
told me there was nothing in my postcode area - I scroll through the list and there's a participating restaurant less than 10 minutes walk away

voted hot for being a good deal - now to find some tiger
#18
how many beer vouchers do you have to collect for the £10 discount? 1?
if so, its a hot deal !
#19

£1.80??????
I just took the voucher off the bottle :whistling:
Well, there were only 2 bottles left with the voucher on so I'm not the only 1:oops:
#23
Aha,got one in Bristol :w00t: :whistling: :whistling:

For those looking for participating restaurants, if it tells you there is none in your area check the national list - I was told there was none by me, yet I've just found one a few miles away!!!
#25
thanks for this, the one near me does a cheap as chips all you can eat buffet so billy bargain!!
#26
Great offer, thanks!

Told me there are none in my area but 2 about 5 miles away where we usually go out for meals anyway!
#27
Voted hot as brillialnt deal if in your area, sadly nearest to me is 20+ miles away, so not worth it.
#28
Gutted -nearest one after looking at the whole list is nearly 50 miles away !
#29

loads in my area. Voted hot

Let me guess you live in Milton Keynes or Birmingham :p

Found one in Morden. Would have gone for the Putney or Richmond one but this is near the tube station (don't drive). Just need to get a voucher now!
#30
None in the whole of north london! Shocking.

Still, a good deal :)
#31
The best offer I've seen on the beer is 2 four packs for £6 from Sainsburys. Each four pack has two vouchers so that's 4 meals and 8 bottles of beer for £6 which can't be bad!

Typically, I seen the Sainsbury price after paying £10 for 2 sixpacks from Tesco. :(
#32
Just picked up a huge bottle + voucher for £1.98 to go with my home cooked indian fest. I am sure it has been mentioned already but it would be too easy to just take the voucher off the bottle neck. But of course I didn't because I wanted beer anyway :p
#33
25 miles to nearest for me, and I live in Surrey, which is hardly an unpopulated part of the country
#34
One a mile or so from my house! How many tokens do you need to collect?
#35
You need collect only one!
#36
The only problem is that 10 minutes after drinking one beer you want another one! :p
#37
Just drinking one now (for research purpose, obviously) and it's very agreeable. The 640ml bottles (with neck collars) are £1.88 at Tesco, the 6x 330ml packs (with 2 tokens) are a monstrous £5.89 at Morrisons (nowhere near a Sainsburys or I would be there like a shot!).

£1.80??????
I just took the voucher off the bottle :whistling:
Well, there were only 2 bottles left with the voucher on so I'm not the only 1:oops:

Seems like theft to me and not really fair on honest customers:x

In my local East of England Co-Op they are doing 3 large bottles of Tiger for £5 until the end of the month.
I too checked the website and got 'none in your postcode area' too. Went through the list and the nearest is about 15 miles away.
The list of participating restaurants is c**p, as accoring to the list, Worcester and Midlands cities are in East Anglia. You really do need to trawl through the whole list.
I have 3 vouchers but will be selling two on e bay for £5 each unless anyone wants to make me an offer!

Fair play to you for being sanctimonious and greedy in the same post. A career in politics beckons.

The difference is that taking something without the owners consent is illegal, but selling something you own to someone who wants to pay for it is not. I am offering the vouchers because a) I cannot use them as I have no local restaurants and 2) I may be able to help someone save some money.
What is distasteful is those people who deliberately buy cheap stuff to sell on at a profit, thus preventing honest people getting a bargain.
