These aren't cheap but are pretty damn good IMHO.

You have to cancel membership once the introductory box arrives but that has never been a problem previously.

They are on quidco and other cashback sites too.

Be very cautious here, the chocolates are absolutely brilliant and you'll find yourself hooked, I know we were.
It took the Missus finding out she was diabetic for us to finally get off them!!!!

It's the slippery slope to addiction!

it won't work for me, it says there was an error processing it and i have to call them :(

Can someone point me to where they explain what the deal is here. If i take the introductory box what i am i then signing up for and what does it cost. Whenever I come across deals like this where it is not clearly explained on the website what the follow-up deal costs I get very suspicious.

is there a catch?

By having the introductory box you sign up for additional boxes at around £20 per time. They seem poor at cancelling when you phone up to pay after your first box. We ended up getting extra boxes, and mailings after we had paid for the cheap box and cancelled. They dont let you keep the extra boxes either lol

i have just had my introductory box, and OMG, these are some nice chocs, specially the malt whisky one (wow)

after the offer, boxes are £17.95 + depending on what you choose,

in regards to cancelling you can do it on there website, you need to register with the details in the letter which you get with your intro box, once logged in got to manage my subcription, more info and then cancel job done, or you can keep it going and choose when you want your next box 4/8/12 weeks

WARNING you will be back for more. lol

TPS won't make a difference if you have GIVEN a company your telephone number as part of a sign up process!!!!

I've been with Hotel Chocolat for about 2 years and never had any problem cancelling ( I found out I had diabetes too, but went back to being a member as the rest of family love the chocs as much as I used to!) Neither have I ever had any spam phone calls. I've always found it really easy to deal with them and manage my membership online, The chocolates have to be the best I have ever tasted, spoil you for any other brands!!!!

You used to be able to receive the first box before you paid for them.

I'm sorry to say I abused this to a huge extent as a student :P

Thanks so much, their chocolates are amazing! I also got £5 quidco cashback for being a new customer, so it didn't cost much at all in the end Heat added!

Nor me, but this very tempting as long as there is no commitment for further overpriced purchases....

I did this before, and like others have said the chocs are soo good it was really hard to cancel. Also it didn't work the first time so ended up having to pay 17.95 more than i'd bargained for
