Are these bins any good? I notice every month or two they pop up on hukd but can't really justify the cost.

I love mine, its eight years old and still going strong. I first purchased a normal stainless bin from homebase for £29.99 which broke within the year luckily I had the receipt and took it back and exchanged it for one of these.:)

We have one of these. Brilliant investment.
Plus - Brabantia customer service is well known, any issues and they'll replace any part of the bin for free.

Because it's better than a cheap one and will out last it by years .

I bought a bin for £15 from Dunelm Mill. Works perfect and has for the last 3 year. Would never justify paying £100 for a bin, especially one that you have to touch to open. A bin needs a pedal, this is an expensive backwards step.

Not to sure why it's been voted so cold? Great quality bins.

Imagine the amount of germs on a bin lid. For that reason I would never buy a touch bin

Recently emailed Brabantia with a broken pedal on a 10 year old bin. Sent out a replacement for free next day. Pretty good.

It does seem crazy to pay that for a bin - but after faffing around with cheap makes you realise your time wasted is worth far more and you end up buying the quality stuff anyway in the end...

If the best investment you have ever made is a rubbish bin, you need to re-evaluate your life.
