Voted cold as I bought pedal one from Amazon UK for ~£30 delivered a couple of weeks ago and the push ones are unhygienic and **** in my humble opinion.

Yep, I've commented about it before. Every week there's a deal for brabantia bins. It's pointless, they are massively overpriced in the first place.

Anyway, as for this deal, the 'brilliant steel' version is a little cheaper (anyone can post this as a deal if they want.....and they know they want to).

I got my big plastic bin from Argos for £3.50 five years ago, that is also going strong and was a hell of a lot cheaper.

These things must be for people have have guests round and say "Hey, don't I have a lovely bin?"....

A BIN IS A BIN, YOU PUT RUBBISH IN IT FOR CHRISTS SAKE!

Next there'll be deals for gold plated toilet brushes -

What is it exactly that you dont get thats appealing about hese bins over a £3.50 plastic one from Argos? I live in a smallish flat. My kitchen is part of my living room. Therefore, any bin i use is on display to anyone in the room. I dont live in a super deluxe pad by any means, but i would still like it to look tidy and nice and these bins (i would never pay 70, but 35 is an great price) look fantastic. PLus the soft touch button is great for when you have your hand full and works like a charm. That plus a 10 year guarantee...

If i was going to be doing gardening or put a bin in my basement or garage or whatever then yes, a bin like this is stupid. But can you really not see that some people might not want a cheap plastic bin on display in their living room?

Also, i see them in lots of restauranst in the toilets for paper towels. Again, can you not see how these are much nicer to look at that plastic cheapo ones?

I mean, i know this site is about finding great deals, but some of you really ought to put their hand a BIT deeper in your pocket sometimes. Not everything needs to be bought at poundland and Argos. Some expensive things ARE actually worth it.
