I have one of these. Top bin, and good price (Paid £63.78 for mine from Amazon in April last year - and that was with 17.5% VAT knocked off).

Hot from me (not that it's helping the temp here!!)

Agreed, great bins. I paid similar for mine in matt silver last year in another Amazon reduction.

Very pleased with mine, bit more heat from me.

I love posting these bins here...............always amuses me to watch the temperature plummet every time, no matter how unbeatable the price is!

If I were a first-time poster, though, I'd probably give up and find somewhere else. :-D

Fantastic price for this bin, I really can't understand the freezing cold vote!

Could be somthing to do with this post?

And others like it before.

Just because the price is presently unbeatable doesn't make it a bargain, does it?

Haha! Well played.

Hot from me, and whilst it's interesting to see that a similar bin was much cheaper 13 months ago, I can't say I think it has much relevance now! Okay, so there was once a better deal once upon a time - it's not available now, so - so what?

I've had a 30l Brabantia bin for 8 years. That's why it's worth paying for. The touch lid is great and makes using it soooo easy.

The lid has broken twice. once about 3 years ago, and then last month. I just called Brabantia up and they sent me replacements free of charge.

You get what you pay for people! Voted HAWT!

Brought one of these last year. The 50 litre capacity makes a big difference as you can easily get your rubbish out of the bin without any hassle, and we can get a full weeks rubbish into one bin bag.

Don't worry - it's just a game saddos like to play on HUKD. Particularly good fun with Brabantia bins, because 18 months or so ago you could buy one on Amazon for £33 for a short time (I bought one myself) and a year ago you could get one for £45. 25 years ago you could probably have got one for £10, too. Not much help now, though.

These are expensive bins - no doubt about that. A lot of people will always vote these cold because they think they're overpriced. That's fine by me - they probably are. But then, so is a Dualit toaster. It all depends what you want your kitchen to look like, and whether you're prepared to pay extra for good looks and solid build quality.

Well said.

Mine was £60 and I don't begrudge a penny of it as i have a nice kitchen (even if I do say so myself!) and personally I think it compliments it very nicely so is worth the money. Not necessaily a hot deal as such but I've seen a hell of a lot worse on here get voted hot.

Put 3p tin of beans in the title. That is always a sure way to get voted hot. ;)
