DAMN - I paid £167!!

RRP £167?!

They're around £70 everywhere so not much of a deal.

I got mine for £35 from Dunelm (using HotDeals) a couple of years ago.

Not much of a saving imo

It's happened again, I am in a different universe to the one I was in when I got up this morning :?

Yeah, I'm in your universe, as I have only paid a few quid ever for a bin, and stainless steel bins seem to be selling for £20 ish, which is still more than I'd like to pay.

I just put trash in it, I don't need to make a style statement to the world.

I guess it's more hygenic to not have to touch the bin...you also have to add £5.95 delivery at Dunelm.

Yes nobody would ever pay £167, but it's the large 50L model and is retailing at £110 in Heal's. It would appear OP's price is £10 less than anywhere else delivered right now so I say hot!

Deal is a reletive term; just because something's expensive, doesn't make it cold :w00t:

Haha, I should have expected this response.

If you want a 50L Brabantia bin now this is currently the best deal. There were only one of two in the Dunelm sell-offs, not Dunelm is £10 more and not delivered.

Yes, its expensive for a bin but you have to pay for quality. I got fed up with having a stinky always breaking plastic bin and got one of these at about this price i think. Very happy with my decision.

I would go even further, as it's a bin, I don't particularly want it to be visible AT ALL if I can avoid it, so rather than make a fashion statement, I want to tone it down or at least put it out of line of sight!

I just wash mine out, and as it is using soap & water, not high pressure shot-blasting I find they don't break for YEARS!

As it doesn't stink, does this one not need cleaning out then? In that case I would be first one to rush out and buy it!

breaking a plastic bin can't be easy!

167 quid...............lol

Brabantia bins are good, but not worth 167 quid. 65 or a lil less sounds about the going rate. Got ours for 50 around this time last yr from amazon too.

erm this bin doesnt even open automatically?!

im sure that brabantia do a bin that opens by itself once you hover your hand over the lid......and it was £60-£70......

now thats worth paying money for!

The ones that open automatically are so annoying you want to disable the auto-open function after a day
