Would it not say the brand name 'Nokia' if it was a Nokia

As good as DX are, this will not be genuine. Same with most of their products.

Well no one did, I was just asking to see if it was a Nokia or not.

The fact that they have called this phone an E66, which Nokia also has – and this looks very similar to the Nokia E66.

Isn't that 'Nokia' written on the label shown in the image of unit with back off? Or it could be 'Nakia'.

Remember that importing goods over £18 can result in having to pay taxes to HMRC - which are often collected by the Post Office.

Whilst it appears that DX mark all stuff as Gifts, this doesn't legally comply with HMRC import rules, as they have been purchased,

Many users say that they have never had to pay any tax, but it's worth bearing in mind that you may be faced with a tax bill and a post office collection fee, £8 ish I think.

That said, it may be made to look like another manufacturers phone, but it doesn't mean it has the same reliability, and there'd be next to no guarantee. If it's reliable, and of the right spec, it's a good buy. It may be the same Chinese manufacturer who makes a lookalike iphone too.

Counterfeit goods. Should be removed.
#14
This is not counterfeit as it has not been branded as 'Nokia' however I agree with all the other comments posted. Please note, some Chinese imports do not have an IMEI module in the phone and therefore would not work in the UK (not saying this one hasn't before someone falls out of the pram). Would excercise caution.

don't think those are counterfit per se. as far as i understand they are a Chinese brand copying the 'style' of different famous models. the os is not nokia or symbian...
i was going to order one of these but the big issue for me is that the dual sim feature seems useless in the uk - as far as i understand - the phone has one unique iemi number shared by both sim cards but the networks in the uk i believe require a unique number per active connection... please correct me if i'm wrong as i would love to have one phone rather than 2!
i know that expansys selling dual sim phones in the uk albeit more expensive ones. i assume that if they are marketing the as such it means their phones can be connected in the uk on 2 networks parallel

...HUH??
...more likely RTOS operating system...not dissimilar to the OS found in settop boxes , thermostats etc

There's a few Nokia rip offs on fleabay (the home of fakes) called NCKIA's where the gap on the C is so small it looks like a O.
