Why is this one getting the hot votes(if it is indeed hot) when this is the dupe post as was posted couple mins after the one I linked above? Same thing happened with another 'deal' recently but then those were merged if I recall correctly.

Great deal.

The only issue is that I don't think this is the LTE version so it won't support the new T-Mobile/Orange 4g network, There is suppose to be a new model releasing soon that supports the UK 4g network.

If anyone can confirm this then it would be helpful as I was thinking of getting this today but just quickly read up on it.

they're having the 4g discussion in one of the iphone 5 threads vodafone one if you ant to have a look, going by what was said in that(I've not checked specs) current s3 don't support 4g.

Current Difference between the 3G UK version and the 4G USA version is that the UK one has a quad core processor but the USA one is only dual core.

Supposidly for some reason at the moment no-one can get 4G to work with quad cores hence why the iPhone5 is only dual core.

the US one has 2 gb of ram compared to the uk s3 witch has 1.

not sure why the change in ram / processors, this due to 4g ?

No S3 only support 4G Regional. I beleive UK T-MOBILE works on 2100mhz whereas in US Verizon is 700 mhz 4g while the at&t is 700 and 2100 mhz. Therefore S3 UK T-mobile should work in US at&t .

Believe it or not, I owned the original 3G when it was first released, just like the original iPad, but that was then, and Android is now! soon as you move away from Apple you realise how much better everything else is.

but each to there own! ;)
