OK - I have calculated in the 5% off as well, so it brings it down to 20p per wash.......why expensive? I have only seen offers like this in the cash and carry and these are delivering to your door!

Daz in Tesco just now. £4 for 38 washes; a fraction over 10p a wash. B&M also regularly do a 100 wash Surf for £9.99.

It's only £21.36 (inc. VAT) for the 8.8kg/110 wash at Makro's online store, which works out at 19p per wash.

If you want a better saving you can buy the 10.4kg/130 wash for £18 (inc. VAT), which works out at 13.8p per wash, or alternatively you can buy the liquid version in a double 4.745ltr pack which gives you 130 washes for £18.59 (inc. VAT).

Yes, you do have to pay for delivery if the order is under £30 (exc. VAT and delivery charges), this is £6 I believe. Naturally the OP's post is a good deal if you're only purchasing one item, but if you're going to buy multiples say, biological and coloured, then Makro is a better offer.

As far as I'm aware you do not need to be a Makro card holder for online purchases, but you would for instore purchases.

Makro site CLEARLY states: "Do I need a Makro Tradecard to shop with the Makro Online Store? - You do not need to be a Makro Tradecard holder to shop with the Makro Online Store, but you will need to be a business owner or have the authority to buy on behalf of a business. "

Naturally if you can go to Makro or Costco then you are likely to get better deals but I can see that Brand Refill are trying to target the households who do not have access to the more traditional cash and carrys. In light of this I didn't feel this is a fair comparison hence why I used Tesco.

Waitrose currently have 45 wash size at £7.12, working out at 15.8p per wash.

I find that Ariel bio powder is the best product for getting really grimy clothes clean :)

all arrived, bought lots of stuff from them and great value
I guess if your machine was completely jammed up with a product which was other than their own they'd have their boffins to test it when you send it in for repairs, and pass judgement. That's how big companies mitigate their warranty claims.

Having said that, the wife must have fed me some brave pills with my dinner as I've just ordered a set of 5 of these. As these are from a respected brand and low foam, there is less likelihood this will happen......err...I hope.
So hot from me.

dont know how they cud prove you have used a different cleaner

I have a Bissell Pro-Heat - so would this work Ok?
I have heard of horror stories of brands other than Bissell own cleaning solution clogging these carpet cleaners and voiding the Warranty. I have about 6 months of this left.

This is the legit Vax solution. I have a Vax but due to the normal price of the solution have been using an Astonish solution for electric carpet washers. Much cheaper. It tends to produce slightly more foam so have to be careful that you don't use too much.

To get the Vax low foam solution at this price is excellent.
