A good deal but I am pretty sure these have actually gone up in price, they were 70ish pence for a 4 pack last week!

Yes, 79p!

No ring-pulls. :-(

I really find the lack of ring-pull rather tedious but now that Tesco seem to have dispensed with the ring-pull on their cans I might be tempted to give these another try,

Brasnton beans seem to vary a lot as to the design of the can, the contents seem remarkably consitent though.

I HATE ring pull cans - complete nuisance, and only wish they would all loose them :-(

Ripper deal.

I think they put the price up because so many people were buying them in [email protected]

One lady told us when we were shopping that she ran a B&B so she kept coming in and out of the store to buy more as the limit was 3 per customer:w00t:

Hot, but only 3 packs per customer!

Yeah...why is that? They used to be ring-pull.

I do prefer ring-pull cans but I don't think it would influence which product I actually bought, it's just a nice little bonus.

Lets not argue over a few pence or ring pulls. We've BEAN here before.

Why not?
Do you know where they are cheaper ? £1 is still a good price so it's a hot deal.

Surely if they made them loose then all the contents would fall out of the can and be very messy indeed!

Good.
All the more to go round those of us who can tell the difference!

I never did believe in wasting pearls on swine, as the old saying goes :whistling:

The Branston bean are my favourite beans these days, far nicer than any of the others so hot deal. A friend of mine who works there keeps on telling me there are 34,125,135,194 (or something like that) more reasons to shop at Morrisons so I may pop down and give it a go :D

EDIT: I couldn't find them in the Cheadle Morrisons, but WOW that shop is awful! My friends will have to give me even more reasons if she wants me to go back there!

I am afraid a visit to Morrisons is an acquired taste!
Laid out like no other supermarket, in particular, a fruit & veg area that is more like the bull run at Pamplona than shopping! Bizzare 45 degreee angle.

Checkouts are back-breaking too without the conveyors, and queues tend to be approaching the same length as you find at Asda branches, but not quite!

Not something for too regular visits, but the products and range are OK for a change, especially when there is something cheap to buy :-)
