WOW!

I had to pay 50p a can in ASDA on Friday. This merits a special visit to Morrisons.

Tastiest beans I've come across, hot deal!
#8
great price; best tasting too
#9
Good deal but so annoying that companies keep downsizing their products! 460g, 440g, 420g and now 410g!
#10
Great price! I think these are the best beans out there for taste, better stock up.Lovely on a jacket Spud, or a couple of think 'doorsteps', but I also use them in a shepherds pie, pasta bake, and a sausage and bean casserole topped with onion mash.Damn, feel hungry now!

Cheers OP, and well done Morrisons.;)

I know companies have been doing this for various products - but I honestly didn't know they'd done it to the beans!

Not exactly the 'cheapest' ever as Lidl did exactly the same deal a few months ago.

Still a cracking price for the best beans around.
banned#13
great deal, thanks op.
#14
Good price but don't know what the fuss is about, I tried them and think they are nowhere near as good as Heinz.
#15
Nice find, equal if not better than Heinz. Garage full today then.

Anyone know if there is a limit per customer/visit? I don't want to load up my trolley with 100 tins of beans for nothing.....although I could pull the old "It's for a charity event - bathing in beans!" which might bring them round.
#33
I like beans! 8)

You don't want to be loading up a trolley with 100 tins of beans full-stop!

Aside from the embarrassment of doing so, a varied diet is quite important you know.

I wasn't planning to eat them all at once! X) Although I do think they count as one of your 5-a-day, so 5 tins a day must be good for you. oO

These usually have at least a years date on them, so 100 tins is only 2 tins a week. Our family gets through 2 tins each time we have them.

Bought some this morning and the sell by is June 2012.

Branston beans are king. Heinz are sad beans swimming in orange water - unpleasant. Heat added.

They are unless you are intending to assault a vegetarian with a can (or four-pack). Then they aren't veggie friendly.
#39
Just been and got 10 packs (40 tins) at Loughborough with Best Before End Nov 2012.

Will get some more when I'm next passing. :)

Best beans by far!!!
