I love these and always look around for which supermarket chain has the £1 deal on.
They seem to take it in turns, so why pay £2.50 and upwards when it's not necessary?
Time to spend £4 me's thinks, and that will last our family for weeks on end!!
Cheers op.

It is a good price for what they are but I have to admit I do not like their beans or tinned spaghetti. I find they taste weird, I am not a heinz snob, I only grab those if they are on offer, but otherwise stick to store brand which to me (and my cheap palette) taste nicer than Branstons. I know I am common as muck!

Heat for the deal though!

Some good deals there but if it's a "Breakfast " offer where's the cheap bacon & eggs?!
Branston beans over Heinz any day.

I used to think HP beans tasted the best. Since Premier gradually bought up a lot of major brands and relaunched Branston to include beans, their HP brand appears to be sidelined ? I tried the Branstons (unfortunately in a bulk buy) but think the taste is strange. If a brand of beans doesn't suit my taste it is usually the sauce, so I add either black pepper, herbs, spices, curry powder or brown sauce. Probably some people would be suprised, but I think the Tesco Value beans had a fresh tomato taste and are my current favourite. But Tesco have revamped their budget lines, so when my current stock has gone and I try the new version my opinion could change. (Loads of Branston beans available @ 4 for £1, cardboard boxed or loose cans, if anyone wants any of my stock !)

I too used to always buy the Tesco budget line, until about a year ago when I tried Virgin, I mean Branstons' coz they were 4- 4 a £1.
Most B.Bs. come down to the taste of the sauce in the end(unless of course the beans themselves are down right 2nd/3rd rate)!!
I wonder if it matters when sitting around the camp fire? X)

Asda had these "on offer" at £2 - one week after they had them for sale at £1!
Prefer the taste of these over the "premium" brands
