Have some heat need to stock up cheers

They do this deal every so often and it is easily the cheapest you will find good quality baked beans anywhere. Works out to just 12.5p for a small tin. Real bargain.
#3
Best price for these was 89p for 4 about a year ago from Tescos.
Always stock up now when they go for 25p or less.
#4
Good price but I find these taste a bit funny... Then again, being a skint student, thats 4 meals for a quid! Gorgeous!
#5
Cheaper than smartprice - still, don't like them... good for the kids though!
#6
Was in Asda earlier and got 6 tins of heinz beans for £2. Only 8p more per tin and they are a bit nicer IMO
#7
I rate these tbh...Heinz haven't been that good for ages.
#8
These are the best IMO.

I will get a few on Monday.
#9
Better than Heinz - more tomato in the sauce.
#10
If you don't live near an Asda, Lidl are doing a crate which is 6 of the 4 tins packs for £6 from Monday to Wednesday i.e. £6 for the 24 tins.
#11
Good deal thanks OP. I'm on a diet and they're a good low fat nutritious food!

Will have the whole family doing a Blazing Saddles impression tomorrow, PRRRRRP!!!

I cannot believe anyone would pay £2.54 for these that is simple outrageous. I would rather go without than pay that. Surely that's wrong.

I remember the days when you could pick up 4 tins of heinz beans for a pound. Those were the days.....

Excellent value at four tins for a beer token. Branston is ok but I personally think tastewise, that Heinz is still the daddy - their sauce is a wee bit spicier and tastier. At this price though tonight, England will be resounding to the noise of slack bowels throughout the land!!!

+1

these are much better than they used to be whereas heinz are too sweet.
#21
just stocked up for few weeks supply cheers op
#22
I like them and the price is nice too.

Personnally I fry 2 cheap onions first, then add beans and ground black pepper - keep heat on low to allow some moisture to evaporate and then serve with griddled beef burgers etc.

Thanks, HEATTTT added. I eat about 3-4 tins of this a week. The sauce in the Heinz tins just seem too watery and tasteless. Branston Beans are the way forward, it is a shame their Spaghetti doesn't have the same effect though.

Beans means Heinze.... COLD ;)
#30
Can't get better beans than Branston , Heinz lost the plot a few years ago !
#31
OMG! According to Which? magazine, Branston came out top in a baked bean blind taste test. Which? news press release

Heinz were fourth, is nothing sacred? I am going to have to give those Branston bad boys another try.
#32
Thanks OP. off to Asda this afternoon for these and the bags of chocolate deal. Scorchio
#33
Thanks OP picked up two multipacks of these today.
#34
Plenty in stock at Westbrook, Warrington. Heat added.

heinz went all health conscious and drastically reduced their original salt and sugar content hence bland and sweetener taste to them imo. Still, they do great adverts and people buy into the adverts more than actual quality these days lol

My GF wouldnt go near branston being a born and bred heinz woman. Used branston for a brekkie once and she even commented that the beans tasted great thinking they were heinz lol
