Sucks that it's instore only though. Asda advertise on their website that you "get the same discounts" :(

Yeah, Much better tasting than Heinz for me too.

Only got about 25 cans left (out of 200) from last year when 89p for 4, so might stock up again. :D

The panel liked British brand Branston's "tasty s auce" and we r e impressed by its thickness and colour.

yeah thickness from modified maize starch lol.

although they do taste nice, heinz are good but so over priced
#18
Thanks for the tip. Will stock up as they are miles better than the the watery Heinz crud.

Better than Heinz but I am sure Branston have changed the recipe lately. The last lot I bought tasted very much sweeter. Anyone else noticed this? Its not just me, the whole family said the same thing.

YIppeee sick of Heinz, i had to add salt, pepper chives butter chilli, worcester sauce, lee perrins and still made no difference to taste, it was like a Dyson anything added sucked the flavor right out.
#21
might be priced as such on the website, but you WILL get it for £1 delivered in your online shopping. They use the exact same checkouts as we do as customers. I got mine delivered today, at £1

So why can they not price the same on their website, it isn't rocket science?

Really, any supporting evidence.???

Their beans certainly are not the same.

Heinz are rubbish compared with Branston.

Plus all the Tesco DTD stockpile of Heinz.

I doubt it, but I'm sure there are two different styles of Branston around as the cans are a different colour sometimes.

My mistake; after further investigation it turns out Crosse & Blackwell are not owned by the same company.

Really need to stop stockpiling stuff found on here now cos people are starting to ask us if we've got any of this, that or the other before they go shopping X)
Sad thing is, even after giving it to them, we still have loads left for ourselves :3
