Hi all,

Spotted this tonight while doing the rounds. I've never tried Branston's spaghetti but their beans are my favourite brand so I've got high hopes for this stuff. It's free on Slimming World too, so I can eat as much as I like :D This is cheaper than any of the other brands of spaghetti Tesco are selling, including their own brand. Didn't see a Tesco Value one though. At this price, a cheap and tasty meal when put on top of some toast!

There are one or two cheaper deals posted on this stuff, but they're at least five months old so I'm presuming no longer valid. I presume this is a nationwide price.

I agree the beans are nice, but this spaghetti tastes disgusting, we binned 3 tins...stick to Heinz

Lol @ new taste. Can't be any worse than the old taste.... Or could it? Stranger things have happened.
#4
Oh really? Goddamnit, just bought 3 tins presuming it would be as good as the beans!!!!!
#5
You may get lucky....

For some reason the sauce in the beans is nice but the spag sauce just tastes really sour
#6
I'll just chuck in some Worcester Sauce with them if they're that bad, that always peps up my beans :)

I agree don't taste too great but pop a little tomatoe ketchup in and the kids won't know the diffrence

I dont see why this is being voted cold, the price is lower than competitors right now...

It's a good price if you like it I guess...I hate spaghetti...and green days don't work for me :(

You'll find that such things are irrelevant around here. You'll get plenty of idiots who just vote cold even though they've never had it. People will vote cold for all manner of stupid reasons, not much you can do about it really. It's still the cheapest spaghetti they had in the store and so I still think it's a good price. I've missed lunch today otherwise I would've tried a can.

Try it when you get home mate..... Then come back and vote your own deal cold  :w00t: ;-)

I voted cold because it taste like s*** and if it was 5p a can I'd still vote it cold, it's that bad...it aint worth ruining a decent meal by putting this cr*p on your plate

You would have more luck getting my kids to plait the Spaghetti than eat the stuff that's in these tins.

I finally ate a can of this today and......... I can't quite work out what the fuss is about. It was perfectly decent and tasted as good as any other tinned spaghetti in tomato sauce I've ever had before!!!! Perhaps they've resolved complaints about the taste with this new taste they've mooted on the tins and perhaps that's even the reason behind the cheap price, to reintroduce the product. Whatever the case, for me this deal is far hotter than it's gotten credit for. Never mind!
