Is it worth going cap in hand to Amazon for the sake of saving £0.50 over he price of £13.10 when I bought it? Surely there is a price limit where Amazon will not refund the difference. E.g. 1 p savings...

Worth looking into, if anyone has any comments, then there would be a BIG refund from Amazon.

I heard amazon had changed their policy on offering difference after a purchase, i was £11 out of pocket when argos reduced something 2 days later. amazon said i could ship it back for refund ie cost me £5 postage but no longer price match a price drop..... however after on my next credit card statement i did get the refund so im confused - maybe threatening for a returns got me it !

What I've done when they've refused to refund the difference, in the past, is check the option for 'not satisfied with product'. This gives you a free returns label and then you can reorder the product again at the cheaper price
