Same price @ Boots online.
#2
I was going to say that but still a great price!

Great timing. I was just thinking today that I needed to buy some more of these, as the stash I bought 5 years is running out.

I prefer Amazon, as I won't have to pay for delivery.
#4
True. Boots do a handy deliver to store if you order £25. And there's always bonus points if you buy a big stash of them.

got 8 of these online @ fleebay a lil while back for around the same price delivered

theres always plenty of sellers at about this price buy-it-now

im against fleebay and their 10% ripp-off fees and wouldnt promote them in anyway, but if it means us here getting the best deal then i feel i must share

ps - no rep please - i like my avatar :)

Seen someone selling 4 for £3.40 on eBay, loads of sales and no negatives, stuck thinking what should I go for? Pay more and get gauranteed genuine heads or pay less and risk getting fakes?
#7
I wouldn't risk it, not with these. Would you really want something fake knocked up in a filthy child labour factory to go in your mouth?

And instore too  I got two sets the other day. They were marked at £8.99 I think it was instore, but scanned at £7.17 :)

Making me wish I never thought of buying cheap now :p

I'll check in boots as I like to get things instantly or else will order from Amazon.

Are these compatible with all Oral-B rechargeable toothbrushes?
#11
You maybe able to get these ones cheaper on ebay, but they also have the ProBright version for £7.26 delivered. Those ones are normally about £9 for 2 on ebay so a massive saving for a 4 pack here.

Exactly. I'm sure there are counterfeit brushes. Isn't exactly rocket science to make them, but in terms of quality.... well... I don't want to go to the dentist to get my teeth fixed because of some dodgy brushes.

Definitely a big risk of getting fakes from fleebay. I bought some last year and although they looked the part they only lasted a couple of weeks before they became loose and did not rotate properly. I telephoned Proctor and Gamble (who own Braun) and they sent a courier to collect the items and they were confirmed as counterfeit. They sent vouchers to replace with genuine items.

I'd double-check if I were you. Over the years I've had two different types of brush head, which though they looked very similar, but were not interchangeable.

I paid £7 something in a boots store last week.

Yeah me too - they were fakes and literally fell apart inside a month. Be careful when buying these things from unknown sellers!

Eh? That is nonsense.
Oral-B heads are all interchangeable.
Perhaps you went and bought the sonic head. If so: D'ohhh
#20
voted hot, avoid flebay ones, i have tried a few and all fake or not work as well as originals!

Well I still have one of those different heads. It looks virtually identical to an EB17 (and is definitely not a sonic head), but doesn't fit my existing handle.

Can't complain for £4.67 delivered. remember I had a £2.50 voucher which I got through Facebook and never got round to using it until now!
#23
Anyone noticed its £7.17 for four or £19.99 for eight :-D

I haven't bought any from ebay but I have bought packs down the local market that looked and worked the same as ones I've bought from Boots, etc. I throw mine away after 4-6 weeks as you're meant to. They never failed I just threw them away because the bristles were all splayed. I would have thought the 'fakes' come from exactly the same factory as the 'original' ones but Braun probably don't know about them.

thats rubbish as originals last 3-4 months so its obvious the differences you are encountering are buying cheap, buying twice :whistling:

Maybe it was ment for the 5% who once a month go to Costco to restock on stuff? Well worth the petrol/hassle. un-lol

I bought a load from eBay quite a while ago. I think they are fake; they last about the same time as real ones but they are a tighter fit and you have to jam them onto the brush when you clip it on. I would buy genuine at this price personally.

+1

I wouldnt bother buying them off ebay or a market just to save a £1 or 2... God knows where and what sort of environment they were made. I bought some Gillet Razor blades off ebay, said genuine etc on the auction but when they arrived they were fake
#32
I got'em for £7.17 from Boots today.
They were marked £8.89 on the shelf though.
#33
Now £6.27 at Amazon.

Cracking Deal!!

I just noticed this too, thought something had gone wrong.

Ordered anyway, will see if it comes through.
