I know these got posted a lot around Xmas, but the 1/2 price deal is on again at boots.com with free delivery and 500 advantage points using the attached voucher.

I've got the older version of this toothbrush and it's pretty good. Comes with:
* Wireless SmartGuide unit (requires 2 AA batteries) which encourages dentist-recommended brushing
* 4 brushing modes (clean, soft, massage and polish)
* 3D cleaning technology with up to 40,000 pulsations per minute
* Choice of 2 FlossAction and 1 ProBright brush heads for cleaner and whiter teeth
* Rechargeable handle lasts up to 14 days between charges*
* 30 day challenge - satisfaction or your money back!**
* Integrated base station and storage unit (dishwasher-safe)
* Portable SmartPlug charger and Travel Case

I have had mine over a year. Best toothbrush EVER! Heat added.

Still a lot of money for an electric toothbrush ...

We won this toothbrush in a competition and although it is great I would NEVER pay this for it.
#4
Very expensive

Its the dogs ******** of toothbrushes though.

Personally I wouldn't dream of spending £50 on a remote control but £50 on a decent toothbrush could save you hundreds at the dentist.

I have the 8500 and its awesome.

Well said!

I got this from argos when it was £50 at Christmas. Great toothbrush. Now looking for one as a gift for my dad but will wait until it gets back to at least £50

Was it this 1 with the smart guide for 50? I bought 1 for 50 at Superdrug but it didn't have the remote/clock so I took it back and ordered mine from catalogue for 70.

Yip, it was with the smart guide. Both Argos and Amazon were doing them for around £50 at Christmas time. There were posts on HUKD
