Well I bought it at this price, if your interested then go check it out! I dont work for superdrug and do not have access to their database of stock levels! Nor wonder people are reluctant to post stuff on here!!

How's your battery after 2 years I was really disappointed with the Braun I bought many years ago as my first electric brush, it had to be permanently on charge after a year just to retain enough charge for a single brushing.

oh no its fine, i actually got a spare cos it was such a bargain but its still in the box, i charge it every 2 weeks or so and use it twice daily (normally!). I think maybe you got a dud. Also i only charge when it needs it, i dont keep it on charge!

You never put the deal up as an instore deal, so as your link showed it as out of stock I am entitled to comment on it.

If you think yours is faulty just ring them up and talk to them about it.

I had one that acted oddly after n months (I forget what/when now) and after a few minutes chat (they knew their product, unlike so many helplines) they sent me a replacement within a few days.

You can if you want to pay a tenner more !
Just back from my local Superdrug and they want 34.99 for this and their not interested in the website price, 34.99 or nothing take it or leave it !!!

Just a thought, do the shops price match their website ? If I print off the page and take it will ???

If you cant get it in Superdrug...try Argos..I did a Post regarding these before Christmas.
Argos were selling at £27.99....bought mine from Comet (on sale for £34.99) but made them Price Match and had cahsback.
If you find any in Superdrug for their Advertised Price...buy the lot!!

Argos price now £68.49 !!! Heck of a good Jan sale price that !!!

Great deal.. just got this at Superdrug in Camberwell, London. Said £35 on the shelf, but scanned as £24.99 at the till.

Hot deal! Just got mine from the local branch at Crawley. Simply marked at £24.99, no previous prices mentioned, no sale stickers, nothing! Also the token to take to check-out was missing from the display model, implying no more available. Checked with a member of staff who thought there were some in the stock room as none at check-out. Sure enough she came back with one which checked out per OP. Moral of this rambling tale is that:
1. There was indeed one at my local store to counter those who cast doubt on that possibility.
2. Without this thread on HUKD I would not have realised that the price marked was indeed a hot deal.
Rep added for you OP. For some reason the heat will not respond to my selection. Sorry about that but thanks for the deal!
The Braun Warranty lasts for two years, but an enclosed Passcode enables you to extend this to three years at www.oral-b.com/register

Big display at my local store. Price for 8500 marked as £24.99, similar model 8400 marked at £23.99. The display said 50% off virtually all the Oral-B models. Only a very few of the cheapest models appeared to be in stock, though.

Great find, I was going to be looking for a replacment to my old one that has busted...have some heat and rep for saving me the trouble searching :-D
#23
rep and heat given
just picked one up from superdrug in meadowhall today
#24
Why is this expired????
#25
Price instore now £69.99 and all the sale offers are back to full price (at least in my Superdrug !). That was a heck of a quick sale . . .
#26
Could always try printing off the Superdrug offer and see if places like Comet will price match?
#27
Sent an email to superdrug cs and they tell me that these are £34.99 in store !!! So all of you that got one for £24.99 must be imagining it :)
#28
I can confirm people weren't imagining it!! Bought one today from Milton Keynes. They had about 3 others in stock boxed on the shelf. They were marked up at £24.99 on the shelf but they scanned at the £69.xx price at the till. But the supervisor didn't care and just did a price override to £24.99.

Bargain! Thanks to OP as I needed a new toothbrush
