These are great. I'm sure we paid a lot more for this when my little boy was a baby and the plus side of them also is that when they have to go to the doctors when they get older, they're used to having the thermometer and ear-light poked in their ears and it makes it less traumatic for them.

i got one from costco a few years back...it's BRILLIANT! would reccomend it to anyone....very accurate...it lets you see the last 5 saved temps so you know whether your child is getting better or not....my girls have no problems with it...

I assume this is a joke. If not, then no, these are only tested to work in the ear canal.

I just bought one for £27.95 from the original link. £1.50 more than the original posting, which is I suppose why it's expired, but it's not THAT expired....
