Just been into our local Tesco's and they have the special 2 disc Braveheart DVD available for £3 - seemed to have quite a few of them as well. I know it is an old film but it is a classic must have and at £3 seems like a bargain !!

make a fictional story, add some scottish nationalism, all english people are evil and have it star and directed by a christian maniac.

Recently got this for £2.50 (effectively) as Morrisons had some good DVDs on 2 for £5 so I got this and Independence Day Special Edition for £5. I think they were £5 each if bought separately though, so £3 is a good find.

lots of cheap dvd deals about is this due to blue ray becoming the new kid on the block?

Couldn't agree more, I thought this film a classic until I watched it again recently, watch how many tartan wearers die in the battles - next to none.

Although there is considerable poetic license used in the storyline, you'll find there are certain historical facts that are 100% accurate.

it isnt historically correct in any way and its plain racist. Mel Gibson has a lot of hate in him (just ask the jews of malibu!)
