Have voted hot as this is a good deal, although in my opinion (speaking as a pig) it's more of a breakfast for 2. Making me hungry thinking about it though!

Voted cold , morrisons bacon is wafer thin and their sausages are the most disgusting thing ive eaten since 1982 , their loaves are normally stale the same day and their orange juice tastes like watered down vinegar , im pretty sure you cant buy cheaper but you cant disguise sh!t im afraid.

What significant event in the sausage industry happened in 1982 then?

I agree with you about the bread though. It's often hard enough to build with, but that's common to many supermarkets, who have no idea at what temperature to store bread.

these sausages are a bit ropey...and the juice is Princes from Concentrate, not Morrisons own.

It is without doubt a good deal.

But the Scouse is correct, the sausages are only good for dog food. I was nearly sick when I ate one, it is not the taste it is the texture. Like eating a mixture of greasy meatballs and cornflakes loosely packed into your grannies tights.

not such a good deal when you look into it.
the mushrooms for example work out at £4 per kilo when the loose ones are priced from £2.28 per kilo depending on the type.
last time they had this offer on it was 50p for 4 eggs from caged hens when thier other caged hen eggs where £1.98 for 18.
the tomatoes are also usually cheaper to buy loose per kilo.
very clever marketing from Mr Morrison.

I do like Morrisons, but the combo of eggs from caged hens, crap bread, and awful sausages mean I won't be buying this. Honestly, some brands (like Richmonds) manage to mask the low pork content well - but these are complete crap.

Not voting, but thanks to the OP for submitting the deal - will add rep.

Holly100 always has the best posts - breakfast at mine as long as the offers on :whistling: ... :p

+1. Not really good value at all.

Plus as mentioned, small portions (unless you intend eating 1/4 of the loaf of bread)

Your theory doesn't work that well when you only compare some of the deal not all of it. Morrisons is a business - they are out to make money not give it away:thumbsup:

I agree this is only a good deal if you like cheaper ingredients. I have voted hot for that reason but I have just sent my other half to our local butchers where he does 5 pic and mix brekkie items for £1.25. There is no comparison for me personally.

I have often wondered why the man downstairs in his corner shop sells bread that is fresher and cheaper than Tescos. It's like the supermarkets freeze it or refrigerate it....ewwww. I hate stale bread.

Not a bad deal if you like cheaper sausages etc but just to point out that your local butcher might sell something better for that wee bitty more x

Ps. I am not affiliated with any butcher in anyway but I would love to be! ;-)
