It's until 11am daily it says on the website, duh! Lol

I don't mind their regular subs, but the breakfast subs are terrible...egg is like rubber and sausage is full of gristle.

There's nothing quite like reconstituted processed meat....yuk!

I love Subway... and I'm not that picky with what I eat... but I feel sick at the thought of these. It was possibly one of the worst things I've had.
#6
I've found the perfect combination sub and don't think anything else they could make would compete so I wouln't try these anyway.

^^What they said - with brass knobs on^^

They are disgusting. Subway subs are great - but their breakfast ones are complete kak - IMO.
#8
ditto normal subs very nice (well most!), these are simply horrid and just taste of rubber.
#9

Thanks for pointing that out, just in case anyone can't read! :):)

Never had a breakfast sub, although I may try one tomorrow.

Stopped buying sandwiches from Subway - because the meat, what there is of it, is obscured by the salad - so they all just taste the same (like a salad sandwich). At least the US Subways put enough meat on so you can actually taste it.

Do they use freerange eggs or the powdered ?
#16
These taste truly awful, i'd rather go hungry!

Macdonalds breakfast is better than this,

Macdonalds breakfast is poooooooooooo.

Different subways get away with a hell of a lot.

We have around 6 locally. Most of the franchise run ones do TINY wee meatballs in the wateriest sauce for their marinara.

Quality has gone down in the hugest way. Supply and demand really has taken hold. I see wee sandwich and roll shops all over closing down (boo hoo, they sucked anyway.)

If you really want a delicious sandwich, try greggs. Their cajun chicken bloomer sandwiches are to die for.

I've been to some truly horrific subway franchisees. But the good thing is, the bad ones aren't around for long. One nearby me was basically a former newsagent turned into a subway, and the owner was definitely not sticking up to the hygiene standards of better subway shops. Handling food and money without gloves, or with the same gloves still on. Not clearing the tabletops regularly etc..

It's closed down now. I'm glad to say the one still around me does massive meatballs in a nice thick sauce with parmesan shavings on Tuesday's SOTD Meatball Marina .

Ohhh deanspark... that's a subway i could quite happily visit :D

I love their sandwiches. Just... hate the fact that there's little distinction between the grotty franchise ones... there's a way to tell which to avoid around here, but it's not very PC.
#21
Its true.. the breakfast subs are horrendous.. the egg is like a cold wet flannel and the sausage is filled with gristle and bone fragments... but if nothing else trying to stomach one of these is sure to wake you up in the morning

Subway has gone bust round my way !

Overpriced crap - good deal this one though !

^ would rather spend 10 mins and make something in the morning, even cereal

just buy real eggs (last ages), bacon (you can keep it in the freezer and leave out how much you need to defrost) and bread (can be frozen too), fry for like 5-10 mins and toast the bread.. you get a sandwich 10x better than this rubbish :/ sorry to be harsh but subway's breakfast subs are yucky.. I had it once and they microwaved it in front of me, wasn't even toasted

+ you get tons more sandwiches out of that..at least 3-6 depending on how many eggs and bacon you use :P

You don't even get salad with this damn breakfast rubbish :/ the point of subway is to get the sandwich you want then stuff it with the free salad + sauce (it's what you pay for seriously) Unless you wanna eat a sandwich with just meat and bread fair enough >_>

Imo subway's been way too stingy with prices, when they first came on in London they were priced more fairly. The only things I really eat from subway is the Italian BMT (sub of the day on thursday) and the subway club if they give vouchers worth using. Sadly most of the stores have gone downhill as previously mentioned, some of the hygiene standards are terrible and a lot of the meat + salad lacks in the flavour department. For the same money of subway you could most likely eat in a really lovely chinese resturant like Coco noodle bar and have a meal with tap water (or a drink for an extra quid or two)

Fast food is a last resort, or if you don't have time it's a fair option. No matter how good the offers are you shouldn't go to a fast food place over home meals / proper resturants, just because they have offers

Thanks for posting the deal, it's great to show you're showing what's out there but the actual sandwich tastes awful :/ even Macdonalds is better and that's a last resort to me lol

Are they nicer than McDonalds breakfasts?
#31
What the hell are all of you lot on about, both the sausage and the bacon breakfast subs are beaut. I dont like egg so can't comment on that but all the other subs i have had are really nice. And as for the guy that said the sausage is full of grisle, no it's not iv never in my life found any grisle and i have had a breakfast sub once a week for the last year.
#32
Utter tripe! Just went to get one and they said there is now such deal. Cold. Thanks for making me travel to subway for nothing!
#33
Not the first place I think of when it comes to breakfast. Had one once, the egg was not good!
#34
This isn't nationwide. Cost me £1.79. And it was the most awful breakfast I've ever had. It was completely tasteless. The only thing I could taste was the ketchup. It really is as bad as people say. The McDonalds Sausage and Egg McMuffin with a hash brown and orange juice is MUCH BETTER value that this at only £1 more. Best to stick to their normal subs. Their breakfasts are awful.
#35
Agreed, not 99p at my local subway store in Bayswater, London. Haven't tried it yet, so can't comment on taste. But it will have to be something special to beat McDonald's egg and sausage mcmuffins.
