Ehhh?

I really don't understand why anyone would require a 'kit' to carry out a breast examination. I mean, why would you need gloves?

thanx, yeah it gives you a step by step guide and what kind of changes to look out for

Yeah, that's true, but then, there are plenty of websites that provide that kinda info free.

Your GP can also describe/show - so I still fail to see the use in such a product, other than blatant attempt by the manufacturer to exploit those in a position of ignorance.

Not everyone likes getting their breasts out and having a potential stranger feel them.

I can also undertand what you are saying though.

I know that can be true, but surely as you've mentioned - this examination is to save your life - I guess people need to overcome their sheepishness.

I'm not decrying your deal here, nor the need for women to check themselves out periodically, just the fact this was £14 in the first place, and that there is a market for such a product.

I mean, what are we gonna get next, DIY cervical smear kits?

Those might be a bit more reliable than all those that were messed up.

Agree £14 was a bit steep and exploitative sounding

im in the know trust me get them checked its shocking how widespread cancer is
#13
Well I think it is a fantstic find and do not understand why people are against voting this hot!!
If it saves lives, it is def a thumbs up from me.
People being so horrible about this find have obviously never encountered someone who has suffered from this, grow up and stop bickering!
I thought this website is all about bargains, just because it is not what you are after does not mean it is not a good find. If it helps one person, it is a good find.

If it can save lives and is this cheap, then great. God save the breasts and those that wear them.
#15
I am available as a free alternative........:whistling:
#16
They also has these at the 99p store(Maidenhead branch) over the weekend.
#17
If doctors are to busy to examine, the government should be providing these kits for free to woman!

Smokers get free help. 1 in 9 is a shocking statistic.

Its just a shame that there is not more prominance for testicular and prostate cancer, actually its pretty scandalous really that there is so much for women, and quite rightly please please don't get me wrong, but men get cancer too.

For some reason talking about guys checking their balls is taboo even when it can save lives.

i totaly agree with you theres quite a few people in my family had experiance with cancer myself included, there should be alot more help and info for men and women out there
#20
If it helps then you cant go wrong for a £1, voted hot
#21
Most women don't know how to examine their breasts properly and/or don't do it regularly... and I'm not one for going to the doctors and whipping my baps out unless there's a problem!

£14 seems a bit steep though.
#22
If there is a chance that this will save a life then hot.

Perhaps you actually need to read the comments, rather than throwing a hissy fit over the first few words.

This site is about bargains, but that certainly doesn't preclude anyone from voicing their opinions on a deal - does it? Otherwise the entire site would be full of posts simply marked 'hot' or 'cold'.

I totally agree, but it is not there to be slated by people who think because something is irrelevant to them they should **** it off! Saving lives to me is a huge thumbs up.

I was criticising the whole ethos behind the product - i.e. selling information that is essentially free to all and from a host of resources already. Why profiteer from it?

No one was being horrible about the deal or bickering.

It was discussion.

I can clearly see what the quoted posters point of view is and that £14 is clearly above the cost of manufacture and someone is making a tidy profit at the expense of the vulnerable (unless of course everything from sale was going to cancer research) you simply cannot justify the cost at original price
Even at £1price some points/issues could be raised about it's use
(I have to disagree with that point of view and say I think at £1 the use of it outweighs the argument that it should not really be needed at all when the info you need is freely available at many sources)
#29
Should be free - but HOT until there is some more sense.
