Please don't vote COLD because of the price, this is good value for one of the best makers of watches in the world.

Just because you can't afford it doesn't make it a bad deal.

If you can afford 3 grand for a watch why on earth would you be looking on hotukdeals? to go with the 10p you saved on a tin of beans?
#7
Its a £1000 off !! does that not count as a deal !!

Jeez, yes I do! The constant posting of over-priced watches that are heavily discounted and thus represent "bargains" is becoming very tedious.

The best bargain here is to keep your money in your wallet and save the best part of £3000.

This is a deal only suitable for Come Dine With Me wanabees:p

It's not for me but my brother-in-law for my sister. Actually I saved 13p on the beans, thanks. :whistling:
He doesn't even need the £1000 off but me personally I need about another £2800 off from the sale price!

when spending this kind of money you`d surely expect something with a swiss movement not a cheap ass quartz.
#13
I don't think this is a bad deal to be honest. Anyone know of any deals on this bad boy?

i really do wish people would actually vote on deal and not other factors.
People who like nice things do also like to get deals on these things too. my husband has a breitling and we are still on this forum because i like to keep consumer savvy. these are v cool watches but watch (pardon the pun) out for servicing costs they can be loads.

Sounds like British Gas and the Boiler scrapage scheme ;-)

Had a Breitling, they lose 10 mins a month - stick to Tag, best watch maker in the world !
#17
I've got an Omega - loses a minute a day! 'Servicing' is £150!

However, on the basis that this is a major reduction it has to be hot, even for all the jealous commies who claim not to like it. Actually I hate Breitling too but this is still a deal, even if it has no chance of getting hot..

is it just me who thinks its ugly as hell?

it looks like they took the mens version and just shrunk it...which would be fine if it was a unisex sort of design, but this looks retarded.

I wish I had the kind of money you'd need to have to be able to spend this amount on a watch (it's the only real way of knowing if it's a deal or not), but too be honest, if I did have that much to spend, a) I'd never spend it on a watch, and b) if I did, I certainly wouldn't buy one that looks like this!

Personally, I still love my very retro 70s pulsar with it's true red LED display! highly impractical it may be, so I certainly don't wear it as a day watch, but it's very stylish, and even now, 34 years on, it keeps perfect time! :-D

I would happily vote hot for a good price on a decent watch (IWC, Sinn, etc, etc) or even for a real Breitling, but this is a tacky quartz which is well overpriced for what it is.

You can pick up a high quality quartz movement (ETA ) for £100 or less quite easily. That just leaves several thousand pounds for a tacky case and bracelet.
Also these seem to be easy to get big discounts on anyway. (hence the number of dealers who are Price on application - It isnt because they are expensive, its because the list price is irrelevant)

you couldnt be more wrong! How do you think people with money keep hold of it lol

Guess it is a good deal based on the £1k saving. However, if I was spending that much on a timepiece I would expect it to be in a dashboard so that I could also drive it around!!
