Surfing, sailing, kite-surfing, swimming, wind-surfing, or just kicking back on the beach - you name it, you don't want to be doing any of those things with your usual watch on - which is where the 'Breo Watch' comes in.

This watch is waterproof down to 10 metres and comes with a permanently affixed natural rubber band made with the naturally occurring mineral Tourmaline (which we've been told is responsible for many beneficial health effects when worn next to the skin, though as long as it keeps the watch falling off our wrists, we'll be happy). All you need to do is just roll it onto your wrist and forget about it. If you find that you're surfing deeper than 10m down, then you need to work on your technique. It's cheap, tough as old boots, and the perfect worry-free watch to wear when you're larking about in the great outdoors.

Features

* A waterproof tubular watch.
* Comes with permanently attached natural rubber Tourmaline strap.
* Depth rating of: 10 metres.
* Available in pink, blue and black.

Size:-

* Watch Face: 4 x 1.5 cm
* Strap: Small: 16cm, Medium: 17cm, Large: 18cm.

This survived about 2 mins the first time I took it surfing.

A depth rating of 10 metres (or 1 atmosphere according to Breo's website) dos not mean you can dive to a depth of 10 metres and expect the watch to survive. It's the equivalent of older watches which were described as water resistant, which basically meant they could cope with a bit of sweat or doing the washing up.

These watches are splash resistant (at best) and not suitable for surface swimming. That would explain all the stories (check the reviews on IWOOT, play.com or Amazon) of them not working after going in the pool. To be suitable for surface swimming or wearing in the shower a watch needs a depth rating of at least 50m, a depth rating of 100m is recommended for swimming.

Shame, 'cos for a cheap holiday watch they looked like a good idea.

you probably had a cheap lookalike and like the one i got from amazon ( totally useless in even damp conditions). im pretty sure these breo,s are waterproof .

these are 99p in primark

About a third of reviews say it has problems keeping the correct time and always needs adjusted.

Bad price compared to poundland and a bad product.

COLD

this is a bad value posting - the price at iWOOT is shocking value - they are normally about £2 for 5 delivered from the far east, voted cold.
#10
Another deal expired just because people think getting 5 of these watches from far east is the same as buying them from a reputible company within UK! And the ones you buy from far east are not Breo! Get real when voting people! Primark ones arent the same ones now, are they?

When voting, consider the price and see if its any cheaper rather than comparing it for other products!

Here, after including the delivery, total price comes to £8.94 which makes the deal cold because they start from £7.14 on Amazon...

However, deal not expired... People just love pressing on random buttons!

Nope, I gone a genuine one. Rubbish

According to Breo's website the XL is waterproof to 3 atmospheres so might cope with swimming but surfing, etc, is probably a bit rough for it.

Other models (like this one) are barely splash resisitant. I don't understand why these things keep being sold as ideal for watersports - they're not! Unless you reckon it's cheap enough to be disposable.
