Just a quick note to mention we bought this kettle a few weeks ago in their last sale and it looks good but the drink tastes of the plastic the whole of the inside is made of !
we boiled it loads of times and it tasted more and more of the plastic the more we used it and it smelt terrible.
we took it back to argos for a refund and the argos staff couldnt believe the awful smell from it when they opened the box!
cold from me and in my opinion it shows why it is reduced by so much.

One of the reviews on the Argos site says it is made from plastic......... The search continues.

Had a colour changer about 3 years ago. after about 6 months it loses it's colour and stays what it's like when hot.

Just thought you should know, they don't keep the black look for long!

It's the LED changes colour from blue to red when it's heating not the container!

It is black steel which feels like plastic but it isnt.
You really think they would be able to sell a plastic kettle for £60!?!

What is the point of this post?
Do you think every deal that gets posted on HUKD is always posted on HUKD first and stays only on HUKD?
So should we all look out for other sites that have the same deal and then post as seen on blah blah? Let me answer that question, no becasue that would be sad!
Ridiculous!

Just got back and opened mine up and mine had water remnants in which didn't seem right. Did anyone else's have droplets of water in???

Nice kettle, just picked one up. It's definately NOT plastic, it's not difficult to tell the difference!

We have had this kettle for over 6 months now and being coffee perfectionists we certainly would have noticed any plastic taste....which there is none of with our kettle....Voted hot.

Oh and for the record it`s metal.

Haven't checked if theres any stock near me but just wondering if anyone would rather go for:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4230498/Trail/searchtext%3EKETTLE.htm

Its a few penny more  but are there any downsides? Which one should I go for, the one in this deal or the above one I've posted in this post?
