Cheapest price for the family pack with the 4 bottles :)

I have been looking at the blend active for a while as my kids lovely smoothies. I like the fact that you make them individually so everyone can just choose flavour they would like.

This is the family pack which includes 2 x 600 ml bottle and 2 x 300 ml

It has recently been reduced from £34.99 to £29.99, I think its a bargain

If buying extra bottles from breville they are £10 each so in our case as I wanted more I just bought an extra family pack.

If you hold an nus extea card, which many people on this site do you will be able to buy it for £28.49

Ours arrived yesterday and its a great wee machine, kids love it :)

It is very cool :)
Easy to use and clean.
#3
Good machine a little underpowered for hardcore stuff people say they burn out but mine seems ok after a month of daily use.

Is this powerful enough if the fruit you use is frozen - not just easy berries but things like frozen mango or pineapple?
#5
Excellent idea blending directly into the bottle! One of the only reasons I don't touch mine is because its a nightmare to dissemble and clean..
That and the price of fruit required to fill a large glass
#6
Had mine for 3 months and use it daily with no problems

I'd also like to know if anyone uses there's with frozen fruit on a daily basis ?
Does it blend well and how does the motor cope ?
#8
getting the nutribullet myself as heard many good things about it but this looks decent too. Not sure how long the motor will last though!
#9
Imagine has 1 year warranty so why worry?
#10
I use this daily and love it blend frozen mango and ice no problem provided you put plenty of liquid with it, would definitely recommend

looks very cool. Not sure I would use it so will see if I still want it tomorrow

But will it blend?
#13
This has been £20 at Asda and Amazon albeit with two full sized bottles. Don't think it's worth the extra money for two tiny bottles.
#14
Is speed the main thing with blenders? I see nutribullet is 900w and this is 300w. Argos value is 400w, wouldnt that be better than this?

Do these crush chocolate bars so they arent lumps left?

as an alternative
£19 with single bottle
and
£28 for two
but can boost clubcard points on Tesco direct if you got em.

also, anyone know anything about these - they look very similar to the breville ones

I bought this recently from amazon for 20 pounds...that was with 2 bottles
#17
I bought the one with 2 bottles for 20 odd quid, excellent bit of kit but wouldn't pay that much extra for 2 more bottles..they are very strong but not worth a fiver each
#18
Now £29.95
Still undecided whether its worth this much although it does look very cool !

Only thing I find is the neck is not that big so can be messy adding stuff like frozen berries or protein powder.

Yes it is great for frozen fruit as well as I've cubes.

I used frozen pineapple yesterday and it coped fine. If adding ice/frozen fruit I find it works better adding frozen stuff first :)

There are a few around that look similiar,to be fair I would rather have the breville as it has bigger bottles plus the two smaller ones. Mind you I know not everyone wants so many bottles.

Its actually £29.50 from tesco direct with the two bottles if your thinking of using vouchers. £28 from a seller.i wouldn't waste my vouchers if it can be bought cheaper with extra bottles elsewhere.

whats it like for chopping kale, spinach, carrots, raw beets ?

Love this product

I use mine daily and have had it for months now - I use mostly frozen berries and frozen pineapple along with fresh fruit and juice and it copes fine. One of my favourites is carrot, ginger, apple and pineapple - all in raw and as long as it is topped up with juice it blends with no problem. The only thing I would add is that if you want 'smooth' drinks it might not be the best for you as the drinks can be stay a little pulpy but it has been great for my family as we don't mind this.

Wow this has gone up in price !! Got mine off amazon 20 quid about a year ago!

This has 4 bottles not the standard 2 bottle which is posted about once a month for £20.

I believe this 4 bottle version is new.

Had one of these for a couple of months, great product. Head added.

I bought this a few months ago it's fab for crushing ice and frozen fruits - so much so I had bought a £479 vitamix and sent it back as found the Breville was quicker and quieter !! I personally prefer my proper Phillips juicer as this leaves bits but for £20 which I paid it's amazing value

Lol I paid £20 for mine

I mentioned it as I have an nus card as I am an OU student and know there was a deal recently for the card that more or less anyone could get :)

I got the 2 bottle version for £22 last month and I have been using every week, very easy to use and easy to clean. A good way to start your day with at least two of your five a day.

Tried that this morning - horrid. Had to throw the whole thing away.

I probably put too much ginger in. How much do you use?

Why?

Yes, why are the bottles bad? Unqualified criticism just not as helpful.
