Those easy release plates are a godsend. So much easier to clean than my crappy old Asda one.

cheers, purchased. Now just have to remember to avoid burning roof of mouth on molten tomatoes!

Got this last time when it was a touch cheaper at £23.99 - but I would have paid £25.99 too without a problem. Great machine, makes good toasties and still a good price..have some heat :)

Missed this last time so pleased to see it back. Many thanks OP.

I love toasted sandwiches.

Two big problems I always have with makers are cleaning (never had one with removable plates) and the fact the molds never seem to properly fit typical slices of bread ; Too big and the sandwiches don't stay together, too small and the sandwiches join together needing you to risk damaging the coating but cutting them out.

Any issues with slices of (certain brands) bread not fitting in this toastie maker?

These are so easy damp soapy sponge as soon as you have removed your sandwich wipe over but keep refilling your sponge job done, for messy stuff come back after you've eaten and finish off round the edges ,no need for any sharp tools at most a plastic spatula or plastic cooking fish slice , these are fab little spray or spray oil poor in omelet mixture and you have mini ones , egg bacon sandwiches using sandwich bacon crack an egg mix up and pore in raw pop top slice on done , really superb much better than the original , just one note if using loads of filling or thicker bread be careful with the closing handle it seems a little weak but saying that mines fine since last year

kingsmill fits as does tesco bread
I paid £34.99 last year and have no regrets and Im a tight As# usually

Pro Tip: Eat 3-4 cheese toasties a day and you never really need to clean it, as an added bonus the warranty period will probably be longer than your life expectancy.

AFAIK it doesn't have any issues fitting any of the bread sizes (not unless you baked a giant one yourself) -:)

I hate cold sandwiches, these are great !

Thanks

I got this being delivered today, purchased at £35, can I get the difference refunded even though the lower price is a deal of the day?

Do you want the edges sealed?

I don't mind them but sometimes they are pretty big.

An alternative for you may be one of them foreman grill type things, they work well but contents may leak out whilst cooking (also easier to clean).

What a horrid effort of a joke

Didn't read the 4 for 3 offer so hve cancelled the single one which I ordered to go back and reorder on the deal.
Never cancelled an order before, what are my chances?
#23
Just ordered thanks, although reviews about plates losing black coating in dishwasher a bit concerning.
#24
Perhaps best to wash on 35 degree cycle or hand wash in warm water
#25
Thanks for posting op, just bought!

If you contact them now you probably will. tomorrow no!

Up to 34.99 now, annoying as its just what I was after. When do these deal of the days typically expire... not at the end of the day?

You could just return the previous one and buy a new. Amazon are usually non fussy about returning stuff, I have done that multiple times without any issues. Be quick though the day is almost over -:)

It's quite easy, just have a chat with them, make up some excuse and ask for a return slip and then place a new order

My understanding was that they run for midnight to midnight, usually have whenever I have checked on such deals, worth having a chat with Amazon to see what they have to say?
#31
I cancelled almost immediately, had to nip out as couldn't decide on 4th item.
Just went to reorder and price has gone up.
#32
Deal is 100% claimed, ah well.

Ordered few as gifts
