Tek - i purchased one of these 6 months ago and it is BRILL , Boling water one full cup at a time on average in 37 seconds . would well recommend

Great price and would thoroughly recommend it - just make sure you have big cups!
#4
This model is better, although it is £48.49, you get variable dispense and a larger water tank, Well worth the extra money...

I had this original model, then upgraded when the newer version came out. They are better than the tefal equivalents which did not heat the water up to a suitable temperature.

How noisy is this model, I have the Tefal which is quite noisy.... Thanks

I've got the variable one, again a great purchase highly recommended. Had it a few months having picked it up from Argos for £39.99 which was posted on here at the time. For an extra tenner it is well worth it "if" the offer comes back on.

got one last year, still using it and its a great bit of kit that will save you electricity.....keep your old kettle in case you need to boil large amounts of water for cooking etc as this is cup by cup dispense.
#11
got one a while ago and still going strong... highly recommended.... much better than the other brand that makes the water only tepid

3% Quidco too - just ordered

Thanks MissP :)

Get one Highly recommend it......had mines since the last time it was about £26
Excellent piece of kit........Hot ......and the water is .......just had a cuppa from mines....(_;)
#14
so is this more for people who make a cup at a time rather than if u were making a brew for 3 people?
#15
This is brill. Had 1 since last xmas. Nearly got another last week in Tesco £49.99.
#16
I have the 2 litre version and it's brilliant! It only boils the amount of water to fill your cup and only takes about 30 seconds. I dont find it anywhere near as noisy as our Russell Hobbs kettle that I had before. I heard the Tefal version is very noisy.

i could swear amazons price was a lot higher earlier this evening when i checked! :|

anyways this is better as you can click and reserve and pick it up yourself rather than waiting for delivery
#21
is there any button on this kettle to push if you want to stop it dispensing the boiled water? Or does it just despense a fixed amount of water everytime? eg. 200ml and if it does just despense a fixed amount can it be changed? cheers

I expect Amazon changed it to match comet.

would rather have it delivered personally...saves having to put up with the weather, traffic and crowds.

thanks

Its saying 6-8 week delivery (!) so probably best to pick iy up from Comet if you can...
#26
excellent if you want cold tea. this does not brew tea properley... soon as you add milk bye bye tea - tastes like a tea after you've left it for 30 mins... not as good as it looks - trust me, i wish it was as good as it looks though!
#27
Had mine for over a year - brilliant bit of kit, not sure about it not brewing tea properly - thought you used a teapot for that - not a kettle :) Mother-in-law likes stewed tea and had no complaints when she has a brew made with water from this.
Water is piping hot every time - even making 2 or 3 cups at a time it seems quicker than using a kettle, but that might just be because your making each brew at a time so doing something - not just waiting for a kettle to boil (a watched kettle never boils :) )
Tempted to buy another as a spare :)

We've got this and it's ****, swapped it from a Tefal one that was much better but broke and they had no more in stock. NOT quicker or cheaper than a normal kettle (read the small print on the box) and only chucks out set amounts of water. If you want to make more than 1 brew it can take forever. Noisy too. I'd take it back if I could find the receipt. I've bought a cheap whistling kettle to use on the hob instead.
#31
About as long as it would take a normal kettle to boil that much water then?
The 1st time you have a guest or 2 round you'll be wishing you'd bought a nice kettle instead.
They're a gimmicky pain in the ****.
#32
Bought the variable one which is discounted from argos at the moment and used the £5 off voucher for small appliances, really impressed with it. The 3 yr cover is also good at 10.99. There u go 3 yr trouble free.
