Brewdog Candy Kaiser - £12.00 for 12 bottles and free shipping!

10
This is usually £1.80/bottle and £5 shipping, so £1 a bottle and free shipping is a steal. This is a seasonal line they're clearing out stock of, but it's dated September 2017 so no worries there.

do the mystery boxes come around fairly often?!...gutted I missed out on this! (and the candy kaiser!)
It's random, normally if they're clearing stock.

Hardcore is exactly that for me, too bitter, but Jet Black heart is amazing, really chocolate and caramel. 2 660ml bottles adds to the value!
Of all them I'm glad I only had 1 of them - had a load before Christmas and wasn't that keen.

Have never tried Hardcore IPA or Jet Black Heart so looking forward to them!

Well I just delivered my box of lager and have to say this isn't run of the mill beer like some of the people on here who didn't buy and haven't tasted it would like to think. This is a quality craft lager and nearly the equal of my favourite Schiehallion lager from the Harviestoun brewery.Very very nice,I only wish Id bought more than one case.
Harviestoun make my very favourite affordable beer : engine oil.
Described as viscous, it's a real solid porter with lovely coffee and chocolatey notes, slightly bittersweet but a really complex brew. I can drink this all day. Tastes better from bottle than can IMO haven't had the pleasure of tasting it from the tap. £2 you can find this is Booths supermarkets I think some Waitrose stock it.https://harviestoun-assets.s3.amazonaws.com/sites/528e0b26f9399f2f1e000002/content_entry528e37b2f9399f2f1e00002d/528e6adef9399f158b00014f/files/OldEngineOil-Scrapyard-1024px.jpg
"It's like, how much more black could this be and the answer is none. None more black."
M&S also sell the Old Engine Oil

Good to know thank you - Booths is often running out of stock!

So if they go bust you lose the £500? Otherwise after 4 years they pay you it all back?
That's right.
Just out of interest, are you authorised to give financial advice?
Out of interest do you understand the difference between information and advice?

Yes. I also answer direct questions.

This is more like "hey guys, check this out" thing than "you have to get this deal and earn money". So it's not an advice. As a bottom line HUKD does not promise anything. And s you said if HUKD does not have the authority to give financial advice, then anything said on HUKD should not be taken as advice but food for thoughts. ;) peace

What happens after the 4 year term?
Bond maturity date is reached. Interests payments stop and initial investment amount is repaid to investor.

Hipster marketing. **** beer.
No amount of marketing will make a beer taste better. . :{

I disagree. Marketing has a massive amount of influence. How else would the likes of fosters,Stella, kronenbourg etc still be bought by people

But does it taste better as a result? Of course marketing influences people otherwise companies wouldn't spend millions on it.

mind over matter. you tell some that's a 20 pound cake an that other ones everyday value an I bet you they tell you pricey one is much better tasting.
Why didn't I read this before buying! Awful stuff. Even the 50p Brahma is better than this.
Offer is still on.

There's a craft beer movement in America at the moment and they all boast FLAVOR but it's just lots of hops and citrus and overpowers the palate, personally I have one pint and that's enough. What's wrong with a bit of subtlety in the flavour. The brew dog stuff reminds me of the American craft beer + their marketing is good. To be fair I would rather drink these craft beers than the standard fosters, carling et al, but in my opinion there's much better beers out there. Personally at the moment I really like the 4 hop lager on sale in Aldi at the moment. It doesn't taste like your standard lager, more like an IPA it's really rich with a smooth honey after taste. I really recommend it.
Not so long ago you could walk into a pub and all they offered was brown ale and pissy lager and some crappy cider like strongbow and maybe if you're lucky, a porter. There's no doubt that the craft thing plays a lot on marketing but what it indicates is a shift in focus toward lots of other types of beers like fruit beers, sours, black ipas, saisons, strong ales, rye beers, wheat beers, porters etc and a good selection of each. It's particularly nice to see more focus on beers from Belgium as they make some very interesting beers, particularly the ones made by monks. This all sounds a lot different to what you're describing. And it's nice to see British breweries playing on their themes, like saison and gueuze, beers which almost disappeared 30 years ago.
To walk into a pub and see 12 beers on cask, loads of beers on keg and well stocked fridges full of bottles of beer from around the world is a joy to behold in my opinion and should be celebrated. :)
I think I'm actually agreeing with you. I prefer the "craft" beer to the standard pub fare. However I do believe some of it is pretty rubbish, hype and marketing. My main bugbear is with those that try to do too much and end up over flavoured. I think Brew dog is a little guilty of this. Though yes I do agree with what you're saying overall :)
Nothing so demoralising as walking into a bar and the choice is fosters , carling or John smiths , but some of the real ale pubs should employ paramedics due to the ridiculous prices they charge . I have seen £9 a pint and £14 a bottle for imported USA stuff . Love them or loathe them, wetherspoons has brought craft beers to the masses at reasonable prices .. The only problem is the clientele , people with more kids than teeth.

I love brewdog, but this is lager is average at best and should be avoided.
It's the worst drink in their range.
It's No better than a becks or coors
No better than coors!? "You cannot be serious!"
Coors is horrible, totally devoid of flavour and too fizzy. Definitely a female drink.

quality Brewers. This would be wasted on the carling/fosters/carlsberg drinkers on here so will probably go cold as it's more than 50p a can (for a reason)

I agree there good brewers but this deal equates to £1.50 a can so how's it a good deal? Normal price for a 330ml can if you ask me.

I got the Tactical Nuclear Penguin when it came out for more than that. It tasted like tar, it should have a warning not for human consumption. Drank half with a friend, not even remotely drunk. They are like those **** carling bottles too.

Ridonculous

Was a heavy night on the sauce last night, did indeed mean to say 24 bottles...
It's £7.50/case or £6 with the 20% off code. Only worth buying in multiples of 24 (or using other beers to make up the 24) due to the £7 postage. This is also a repost (and not a great one at that).

This offer is still on. Ordered mine last week and got it today. Great service, Great beer, Great price!
Mine came yesterday. Well, everything bar the Tokyo* and Teku glass. They're coming later as both are OOS. They sent me a free BrewDog keyring as an apology (after I asked for one admittedly, wasn't being cheeky though, I genuinely wanted to add one to the order but they said it was free).
Ordered on 1st december. Got the 77 lager in. Nice stuff.
Good to hear. Which day did you order? I've still heard nothing, yet they've had my order for 2 weeks now. I've rang/emailed them on a daily basis since Monday with no response.
I spoke to someone tues and the arrived yesterday. Website updates aren't working apparently!

I'm so gutted I missed these.
Wrong.. on so many levels...

Sounds very gimmicky, can't imagine 55% beer tasting much different from high proof spirits.

Edited By: NitrousUK on Jul 23, 2010 03:36: But...why?
That has got to be the oddest items I've ever seen for sale.

..........and, whilst I find that putting a bottle of beer inside a dead animal is odd. Somehow, dressing them up in some sort of traditional dress is even odderer.

........and very, very funny in a totally inappropriate way.
and all sold out too
