Bonus. Just said I wanted to get back in to home brew so this is a great reason to get those kegs back out.

Does anyone know what equipment you would need for this? Thanks

Unless Brewmaker6 is the name of the company and the way it is on the website makes it appear it is 6x1.8kg, anyway, we'll wait till monday and see.

Everything suggests it will be one kit, just a typo in the title.

Yep because "6" & "x" is normally an accident. ;)

Its probably that tesco must order in packs of 6 but that is not my business.

My order says 6 x 1.8kgs

Hot. I've never made homebrew before and I know nothing about it but I bought two kits anyhow... one of the scottish heavy and one of the IPA. I've always fancied trying homebrewing. I hope they honor it as six tins of each instead of cancelling or just sending one tin of each. If its honored it will keep me in beer all year [hic]
#23
they all say "carton" or "ctn" as well as 6x1 so hopefully I'll be getting my 6 x IPA, 6 x export bitter, and 6 x Chardonnay kits. cheers for the heads up

I was never a big fan of extract brewing and it nearly put me off homebrew, I then moved to all grain brewing where my results are very good, including supplying a wedding where it was preferred over a keg from a large real ale brew house. Even after maturing I could never get an extract brew to taste as fresh as all grain.

If you're new to brewing don't add sugar, replace it with golden syrup, it'll taste a lot better

New to home brew. What equipment do you need to go with this for the brew?

a fermenting bin and a bottling bucket (can be the same thing check out http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231078975970 the little bottler makes life much easier if bottling), an auto-syphon, a plastic paddle (spoon with holes in it) and a big plastic jug not required but useful, sanitiser (many recommend star san, but whatever you choose do yourself a favour and use no rinse sanitiser), a load of bottles (I use pet and swing top, if you use normal glass bottles you'll need a crown capper and a load of caps) or a pressure barrel.

you can use bottled spring water or just plain tap water, if the latter I'd recommend adding half a crushed Camden tablet to treat the water beforehand to remove chlorine.

other than that, you'll need time and patience
