The Book People have the Brian Jacques Redwall set of 10 for only £3.00.

I bought this set at £9.99 a month or two back and it was a bargain then and it will make a great present for next Christmas or a birthday. Individual books are £5.99 each.

I've used the Book People several times now and the service is excellent with fast delivery.

Don't forget Quidco as well!

Is it a mis-price? If not then it's fantastic value.
A great set of books, still have them on the shelf when I bought individually for more than £3 each!

If your children (anything from 7-15, I still re-read on a rainy day at 21  ) haven't tried them for £3 you've nothing to lose - voted hot
Note £1.75 7-10 day postage everyone!

Next day available for 5.95
Not sure if it still works, but there is a free delivery code for the book people on this thread.

Expired, but thanks anyway :)

Free Postage on £25 orders, had a quick browse, a few decent offers makes me think the Redwall price will be honoured (guess its an old series)

The Dave Pelzer Trilogy - 3 Books at £4.99 decent value if you need to add to your basket, also 6 Alex Rider by Horowitz (Stormbreaker etc) on audio CD reduced to about £21
This is extremely cheap @ £3.00. I bought a set for £ 9.99 recently and thought that it was cheap! The quality of books is excellent. My 10 year old started reading the third of these books today and he is reading more than 100 pages a day these days. He had totally gone off reading but these books brought him back to it. Remember, we think with words and reading teaches words. No words no thoughts, our very intelligence and imagination depend on words. I have dealt with The Book People and they are even better than Amazon in their service etc.

Thanks for the deal, heat and rep added:thumbsup:
Have ordered a set, loved Redwall when I read it years ago.

Heat and rep added
No such thing as a misprice with TheBookPeople as far as I'm concerned.
They always have massive deals, this includes books that have only just come out and are at full price in all normal bookshops.
As an example the Long Way Down book has been at £5.99 since it came out. I think the lowest I've seen it in WHS/Borders/Amazon is £9 at the very least, more often just half price or closer to £20.

It's £8.99 on Amazon right now for example.
This is a fantastic deal - thanks very much - used to read these as a kid and loved them. Heat applied.
I would buy another set if I could find a valid free postage code, just because it is so very cheap. I am surprised it is not getting much heat. All these books are rated between 4 and 5 star on Amazon.
Definitely not a misprice as it has been £9.99 until recently and briefly £4.99. I've used the Bookpeople lots of times and the service has always been excellent. There are usually codes for free delivery around, but I checked all the ones on here before posting and they had expired. It shouldn't be long before another comes around if you want to wait. Worth noting with the Bookpeople is that if you order 5 times in a 12 month period they automatically upgrade you to VIP status. This gives you some special deals, but, more importantly, upgrades you to next day shipping for the price of normal postage. This works with the free delivery codes so the last dozen or so orders we have placed have been free next day delivery. They always come next day, even if it is a Saturday. Can't rate them highly enough. Quidco always tracks and pays quickly as well.
They also have 'How to read an English Garden' for £3.00 which I posted seperately, but which hasn't been picked up on, if you are looking to make up an order. This is £17.50 on Amazon and could be another present for next year for those who start early like me!
Just a reminder for this incredibly cheap set now that a new free delivery code (169A) has helpfully been posted by others.
