I saw these in Stockton yesterday - according to the price sign, they have an RRP of £29.99, so are an absolute bargain...

Haha, I think that was my partners point of view too! We'll have it going all round the lounge soon!!

We already have quite a large set and he said 'oh you might as well get both at that price!'

Think he's looking forward to playing with it more than the 2 year old! Something to do with the battery operated engine!!

in case anyone's interested, Tesco's wooden track is compatible with BRIO - we bought lots of extra track and bridges there to add to our BRIO set for a tiny fraction of the price... we had quite a good set-up with the train going around the xmas tree last year!
and unlike a lot of other compatible track, the Tesco pieces are high quality - pretty much indistinguishable from BRIO.

The Ikea wooden track is also compatible with Brio (if they still do it).
#10
Is it? We've found that the IKEA track is difficult to attach to the Brio track, very "tight".

Shame it's not online, so can't vote hot, I'm afraid.
