With the mild weather forecast this week, tempted to get the smoker out and slow cook one of these in the next few days.

Cooked a lovely Bookers one (£6.99Kg) yesterday in the BGE.

Wish I could justify the cost of the BGE to my wife :D, they look so good. Just got a PROQ Frontier to replace my Brinkmann last week, Expected it to be in the spare room till after Easter, But the weather is lovely today and if it holds out for a few more days. I think I will do a first cook with it, after the initial seasoning of the ProQ

Wanted to try cold smoking some Pork belly to make my own bacon also. But got a feeling the weather will have turned a little more wintry, before it has cured properly. So might leave that till later

If you can get the Pit Boss from Costco that is an absolute gift and will do everything a BGE can do.

We smoke our own Bacon, Garlic, Cheese and Butter in the BGE using the ProQ cold smoke generator. Once you've made your own bacon you won't want to eat supermarket bacon again.
