Very good bargain, This was purchased in the Devizes store, which isn't that big and they had 4 out on display.. Please post the store name if you find one in your local store!

It didn't get very good reviews on tesco did it? Have you switched yours on? Is it noisy?

I have had two of these - both broke fairly quickly - same happened with my parents in law. This is a good price compared to the original, but I'm afraid the machine is poor quality and won't last.

agreed on that - i've had 3 which lasted about 2-3 weeks on each of em. Kept getting blocked up with air and no water would run through

other than that, it was great when it worked and not really that noisy

i was informed that my kitchen worktop wasn't on a level, which could have caused it, :?:?:?:? well it was level with a spirit level so maybe it's just not on the angle it needs to be

Cold from me, these things are useless and break in no time.

No disrespect to OP...still voting hot...if only I could have got one at that price...but not OP's fault...read on

typical Tesco....VERY store specific....still £52.89 in my local (got a price check done as there were 4 of them on a shelf not priced)....none of the reduced to clear items have ever appeared in my nearest store (Ballymena), in fact every time something appears on here at MASSIVE reduction (obviously to clear) the items actually disappear OFF the shelves...only to reappear at a later date....obviously the store manager doesnt appreciate how selling off old stock works.

OK head office say , we want to get rid of xxx and the price is reduced from £50 to £30...now to get rid in the next week...we will reduce it by another £10 and take the "hit" now....all the stock disappears from my local....then a week/10 days later it reappears at the old price...means local isn't overun by bargain hunters and store manager doesn't take a hit on turnover/sales.....dumb a$$, doesn't he realise in 6mths time when stock is analysed/checked, his head office are going to ask "why have you 4 of these in stock, when everyone else sucessfully shifted them...."

this has happened with laptops, netbooks, 22" tvs, bigger tvs, Ipod speakers...you name it...store manager....numpty!

Bought mine at a boot sale for £4.............looks great when turned on............a nice blue glow.........but what a waste of electricity and expensive filters,so i used mine without a filter and also used a normal filter jug to fill it using cheaper filters.............Leaving it switched on 24 hours a day seems excessive but as it can take 4 hours to cool the water it is easier to leave it switched on.
Used it for 2 days, then the novelty wore off and now put a jug of water in the fridge, which is so more practical.
This is just another kitchen gadjet that serves no purpose just looks good.................

Biggest load of rubbish ever! Now on my 4th replacement in 9 weeks! Next time, (and there will be a next time, it's leaking after 20 hours use!) I will NOT exchange this piece of flashy garbage!!
