Willing to be persuaded but why have the jugs got a 4 week timer on?

If you check out the jugs on the American Brita web site, the timers are 8 weeks.

http://www.brita.com/us/products/replacement-filters/pitcher-filters/

I don't know if the filters are different but I use mine for two months.

They think the UK market are suckers and mugs and good for ripping off. And they are right.

Here is the link to Aussie Brita site showing jugs with 8 week timers:

http://www.brita.com.au/britaproducts/maxtrajugrange

And here is the British site showing the same products with 4 week timers:

http://www.brita.net/uk/jugs_details.html?L=1&p_id=234&cat

They are shafting us. Reset your timer after 4 weeks and let it work for 4 more.
