Come top in the 2006 Which crash tests with 71% & Best Buy status

Just beware that these are the older models, the newer ones are called Evolva 2/3 and have alot more padding and are more comfy, and score a little bit more in the Which tests 74%

I can't believe these are so expnesive! I picked four up for £20 each about a year ago from Argos.

i think this has been superceded by the evolva 23 - looks very similar except the evolva has arm rests and comes in isofix or std flavours.

The evolva got 74% in the recent which? child seat tests. So i have reservered one!

edit: its the evolva 2/3 ULTRA that gets 74% - rrp is £90 - the one linked above isnt the ultra... HTH

They were in the catalogue clearance tho IIRC

Yeah, but then they came back into the regular again! I know they replaced this with the evolva and most places seemed to clear old stock but then it has come back again at full whack!

Just seems weird that they replace, shops sell off and then it returns!

Good seat though and, as you said, got good scores from Which

I bought a couple of these at toysrus when they were £19.99 each in October, at great deal at that price, but the seat/back padding is a bit thin compared to the evolva range

original thread at £19.99

I'd say pay the extra tenner for the evolva

They've got an evolva 23 on mothercare site for 44.99 and as cheap at other sites

The pics on the site dont look like an Evolva as the padding is the same as the Halfords one, the Evolvas padding covers all the base and no plastic showing (see pic below)

Yes its a good deal for a high rated car seat, there is a better one for about £10-£15 more , personally i would go for that as it more comfy, but both are just as safe as each other.

Does anyone know if this is ISOFIX ?

If not any good ISOFIX deals around for 5yr old plus?

Thanks

I bought this last year...still using it for my 5 year old. Good sturdy seat and there are cup holders that come out from under it. Good value for this price imo.
