It says £10 off cannot be used on sale items. Still a good price though

I couldn't buy it through the app yesterday but mothercare have agreed to refund me the £10 plus the £3 as it was £140 yesterday

same, total bargain, £10 code for new user via mothercare app does work brings it down to £127, just download app except push notifications when apps opened, and the code will show less than 10 mins, mine took about 1 min.

Hey, has anyone received theirs yet?

I ordered 2 on 24th December 2014 10:38:24. I phoned Mothercare yesterday to get an update on the order and I've just had an email back saying "your order is in the process of being cancelled by supplier due to stock availability".

There is no way they were sold out when I placed my order, unless they were taking orders for items for which they had no stock. That would be seriously bad practice.
I have just rung and been told the same and I ordered on 23rd. Not impressed, especially s it was still available on the website for ages after I ordered

Littlespender, I also checked the site 2-3 days after I ordered as we were considering getting a 3rd and they were still showing as "in stock", so the whole availability thing is nonsense.

Yeah I'm seriously annoyed too. They've held on to our business for 13+ days causing us to miss out on the deals from their competitors. If we hadn't got in touch when were they planning on letting us know about these "stock" issues!

I've emailed them back stating that I'm not happy and asking them to honour their contract for goods. I'll see what response I get back. Failing that, I'll contact trading standards and see where we stand. Have you made a further complaint?

I'm getting the feeling that they have made some sort of mistake with this and are now trying to backtrack on the orders. I've posted the same thing on the other listing for this deal and it appears to be the same story:
I have emailed a response to say I'm dissatisfied with the customer service and I will push it down that route . I believe it was probably a mis price and now they are backtracking. They don't have to honour the orders as far as I'm aware and they will have a clause somewhere to cover it so I don't think trading standards can/ would do anything but I do think it is really bad customer service.
I am in the same situation & have emailed again after no response to an email I sent two days ago. If they had no stock on an order placed on 23/12 then they should have been in contact by now. Not happy I have missed out on deals from other companies after waiting the 12 days I was told.
I too have had the same email! Ordered 2 on the 23rd and just had an email offering me another deal as these are out of stock! I'm fuming! I have missed out on a few deals due to waiting for these!
Gutted! Ordered 2 on the 23rd and just got the out of stock email and offering me two alternatives! I'll be ringing on the morning complaining as I've missed out on so many deals waiting for this!
I have also got the same email they will be hearing from me tomorrow it wasn't out of stock they have clearly messed up & tried to cover their tracks.
I've just rang mothercare and they didn't even quibble my query of having it in stone grey. Give them a call. Mine is coming in 7 days.
We've just been told that they will honour the deal in grey, but don't know whether they actually have them in stock!

Same here. OH just had a 30minute phone call with head office. Now receiving grey one within 5 days.
